I used to feel like such a rebel buying this, I'd stash it under the bunk bed so my mum didn't find it, I'm 37 now so I'm not sure I'd get the same enjoyment or have that sense of danger hiding it from mum like I did back when I was 36.

I read a copy a few years ago and didn't find it that funny, but as a schoolkid one would work its way in and get passed around now and then, and I thought it was hilarious back then.

I download and read it on my tablet. I'm sure that, given the standard of material in it nowadays, they would see the funny side of that. Come to think of it (fnar fnar! and all that) I don't know why I bother.

My local library has a subscription to http://library.pressdisplay.com/pressdisplay/viewer.aspx and I can read Viz for free from that

Not seen Viz since 1989.

I remember a copy being passed around in school and in the tips section it said something like:

Don't know what Viz is like nowadays but I used to buy it faithfully in the 1990s - even a Scottish-themed knockoff called Electric Soup which had a rip-off of The Broons, etc.

My brother and I shared a soft porn mag subscription. we halved the pictures.I'd get the lower half, he'd get the top half. sadly he never saw the fanny side.
