I only really use the gap kids section and even in the last 3 years the quality / selection seems to have fallen off a cliff.
They operate a perma sale strategy these days so I guess the quality has to give, you're nuts if buy anything < 40% discount.
Still, at these prices, if you can find something, good deal.

Personally I'm not that keen on the mens styles but I do order for the kids. I find the quality to be fine, probably better than some of their high street rivals.
Ordered just over £50 worth of kids clothes, code applied which took it down to around £36 and free delivery automatically applies.

Subscribe to their daily email. The "sale" is pretty much permanent and changes daily with a percentage that normally fluctuates between about 20% and 40%, occasionally 45%.

once they offered 40% in store and 30% online. i emailed them saying not fair as no store neaby and ur maternity range online exclusive. so they took 40% off my order.

Made a purchase yesterday using the code of the day, some sale items and some non sale. The code was for non sale items only, then today as there's a sale only code I contacted the live chat to see if I could have that applied to my order from yesterday, rather then re ordering and returning the non discount items and they were happy enough to do so.
So if you've ordered a mix of sale and non sale but only had a discount on one you would be as well contacting them to see if you can get a further discount.

Used to love GAP when I lived in the US and there was good stuff here too (albeit at much higher prices). However they lost the plot some years ago, I rarely see anything appealing, the quality is much lower and I'm not surprised they are in trouble. Local GAP in a very successful shopping centre is closing down.
