Just popped into the Watford GAME store to grab a Lego Dimensions set, and on the shelf behind the tills were some Xbox One Console Bundles, all for £149.99
I picked up the 1TB Fallout 4 bundle, but also available are 1TB Division Bundle, 1TB Gears of War Ultimate Edition Bundle, 500GB Kinect Bundle and also a 500GB Standalone Console.
All are marked up at £149.99
Obviously these are not the Slim edition, but all are new and boxed.

One game gets cancelled = "MS seem to be cancelling anything...". Classic internet comment logic there.
Personally I don't have an issue with paying £30-35 per year for Xbox live, especially as in my house we share one Xbox Live account across 3 profiles.
I'd be annoyed if one account was required for each profile though.

is it just me or nobody is mentioning the amount of ps4 hack and password change makes xbl better

Not particularly a fanboy no - I do have a PS4 but only because I won it. And I also said I was tempted by the Xbox at this price so how is that being a fanboy. :smirk: Bit on the reactionary side. It still doesn't really make a lot of sense and more people than me have been questioning why when Microsoft Windows online gaming is 98% free, Microsoft Xbox online play isn't. The "costs" involved are largely borne by the publishers and their servers, are they not?

Grabbed a Fallout 4 bundle today from Glasgow Fort, they still had 1 left with The Division also and a couple of 500GB with Kinect bundles.
Thanks for the heads up, great deal :stuck_out_tongue:

This is just incorrect. I could make a list of exclusives easily.

Great price but xbox is more than done for me now scalebound is cancelled. Better off having a pc and a ps4.

How is this a problem you are making a drama out of it and if you look at big pc games that are dedicated for online play they have subs.
So because ms are charging its greed but sony charging its not ok clearly a fanboy if anything you could say sony are the greedy one they offered online play for free before. (it costs to run services so it's not all greed and what is £25-40 a year it's nothing a cinema ticket costs like £11)

Why they charge for online. .and why I happily pay.. is that its always working...always... in all the years I've been with xbox .. I can't remember an instance where xbox live was down. .. .. unlike the weekly complaints I hear from people at work about ps network being down. . Again. ..

XBL does go down, its far from perfect but yes, I hear reports from PSfanboy mates who say that XBL is the only good thing about Xbox.

I smell a PS4 fanboy.... mate, I agree that XBL should be free, but you get free games (not all tosh!) and its only around 7p per day if you buy it right, if you cant afford that then you shouldn't really be wasting money on a console. Buying a modern console without online gaming is like buying a Ferrari without an engine so I'll happily pay for the service I get. I'm no expert but I'd assume that the platform for PC is different to XBL so maybe that accounts for the cost??!

Good price but at the end of the day its still an Xbox and theres nothing interesting on it just Halo, Gears, Forza milked games every year. MS seem to be cancelling anything that isn't their holy trinity like they recently cancelled a game called Scalebound which was like 4 years in development.

Same can be said about Sony regarding PS4 titles.... Other than Uncharted there's absolutely nothing in the way of exclusives!

God, why do people keep banging on about one cancelled game?? You have FH3, Battlefield1 and a ton of other great games to play of every type, if that game was so good it would be published, there will be a good reason as MS don't operate for fun

Driveclub and Bloodborne, apparently.
The big niggle with the Xbox is my puzzlement at how they can justify charging for online play. You don't get charged for online play on Windows...Microsoft run Windows. Am I missing something here (other than greed and excessive money grabbing when they really could afford to make it free). Sony have no equivalent online gaming platform running alongside PS Plus that you could point to and say they make enough out of that side already.
Still tempting at this price though even though I'd have to find an extra cabinet to keep this monster in. :smirk:

Terrible deal you can get 2tb for about 60 on a sale.
Buying the 1tb is pointless when you can get double the storage for a little more

Plenty of deals pop up on here for drives. I bought a 1TB drive for £50. Now have 60+ games to play, that's enough innit?

It has been online as well as in store, but I think the online bundles disappeared very quickly.
I also noticed that the bundle I picked up included the new model of controller with 3.5mm jack for headset, as well as including a headset.

If only i had known. My powerbrick for mine died. Now i could spend £15 and get a cheap 3rd party one which according to the reviews is really loud and has melted before or go through MS and get an official one for £42. So basically for £100 more i could get a brand new console, with a controller and a game, prob includes the headset as well. Controllers about £35 (need one if my nephews wanna join me on some games) Headset, my cat chewed through the wire so prob £15-20, I'd have prob gone for Gears 4 and at the mo thats £20, then i got the 500gb harddrive, this has 1TB, so yeah definitely would have been better to buy a new console
