From Decathlon's website:
"100% down and feather filling"
"Filled with 85% down/ 15% feathers (95 g in size L)"
So it's not 100% down?
EDIT.
I see their point - it's not like the cheaper ones that have holofil sleeves and a down/feather torso.
Further reading of the Decathlon page proves more entertaining:
"Our feathers come from Chinese ducks reared for their meat; we remove their feathers after slaughter. We hold the death certificates for these ducks."
I guess everyone has to have a hobby, but collecting ducks' death certificates? The rest of the world just collect stamps n stuff. The French are weird.
"Care instructions: Wash inside out. Wash alone."
There are some things I prefer to wash alone - but I tend not to put them in the washing machine!

It's because less reputable suppliers gather feathers and down by ripping them off the birds while still alive, which sounds horrific. Decathlon at least are a reputable company.

feathers, down, who's counting, what's the difference bro?

Feathers are cheap, heavy, not very insulating (compared to down) and have pointy, stabby bits on them.
Down is fluffy, light, warm and would never stab you.

Down is the soft underlayer beneath the waterproof top layer. As we've already discussed the ducks have already been slaughtered, eaten, and their death certificates stored safely before the down is plucked and stuffed into your new jacket. It's unlikely they were tiny - not much eating on day old ducklings!

Hmm, decent lightweight jacket for the price, so ordered, BUT - sizing appears to be all over the place (check the reviews) - what actual size is a 44 US:M ?, so little idea if it will fit, and Decathlon seem to have had big delivery issues over Xmas - see recent reviews on Decathlon's site, so I have no idea when it will appear.
Best to find stock and try in-store rather than online, I'd suggest.

decathon sizes are real sizes. most uk sizes are at least a size to large to make us think we are skinnier than we actually are. They are French so just believe fat people are fat, large people are large. definitely get a size larger than your normal clothes.

For it's weight and price these are warm jackets but there is no way you would be standing outside in minus 5 with just one of these over a T Shirt. I own an Arcteryx Therme which is 4 times the weight and 750 fill rather than 300 and I can just about get away with that trick but only just.

Tried one of these on as well as the X-Light one for £28 and much preferred the fit and look of the cheaper one. This one is way too bulky, zip sticks out and makes you look a very strange shape (well me anyway!). I went for the cheaper X-light and it's great.

2 Jan 17#65
This statement suggests that the jacket is most comfortable when used between these temperatures. How can that be right? How can one ever be at the peak of comfort when exposed to -5? Am I to take it that I would be less comfortable in this jacket at 10 degrees? Is my comfort directly proportional to the outside temperature? Does this study consider the effect of wearing gloves, a hat, or other attire? I just don't know what to think any more!!!

Collected mine from Asda today, and quite pleased. The zip doesn't stick out as some reviews suggest, the Ladies purple is quite a nice colour and it's well put together, although the material has a slightly plasticky sheen. I bought Large which turns out to be a 14. The fit is straight, not tailored, so I'll get the sewing machine out and take in the waist. It can be packed into one of its pockets, although the down will suffer if stored like that. Yes, it's not thick or very warm, but the size and cheapness means it's good for casual use, or for kids who can leave stuff behind. Good Value too.
