A great bargain break to Menorca in the Easter holidays as well, under £130pp!!
This trip leaves on the evening of 31st March and I believe most schools break up on this date (I checked a few schools in the Midlands area). Flights are with Ryanair so only includes hand luggage but this should be easily achieved for a week.
The accommodation is the California in Cala en Blanes and has good reviews on Tripadvisor and has a pool too.
I've included car hire, this isn't the cheapest but is a better car (4 door) as oppose to a hatch back. This is only basic cover so you'll want to take extra insurance out which you can do at places like insurance4carhire if you wish.
Breakdown
Flights with Ryanair £249.92
Accommodation book at Amoma.com using code AMO0201 (the code is on their Facebook page) £239.40
Car Hire book via holidaycars.com £23.64
Total price £512.96/£128.24pp

Title should include the FULL cost of car hire. OP mentions this so why not included? You'll need to add either £30 or £50 to the price. BUT, check VERY CAREFULLY who you book a car with - the quote included is from Interent, who has appalling reviews on TrustPilot. But then again in my experience of looking at hire companies, virtually all in Europe are crooks. NEVER book a car with Goldcar for instance! But as said, they're all terrible in Europe and will con you in most cases if they possibly can.
Best take out separate cover with a UK insurance company to cover excess charges - costs I believe anywhere from about £10 for a single trip or maybe £20 to £30 for annual cover.

Because not everyone will take out additional insurance. Some people may want to take it out with the car hire company direct, others may take out a seperate insurance cover or some people, like myself have the seperate excess insurance included with my annual fee on my credit card so I never need to take out extra insurance. It would be like including travel insurance in a deal. Some people take out a policy each time they go away, some people have an annual policy and some people I know don't bother at all with insurance!

Derbyshire schools break up on the 7th April as well, but a good deal nonetheless for those that can take advantage.

Got me all excited for a minute. I'm Notts but the dates linked to above are Nottingham City which are different. Enjoy it if you go for it though
