1. See a deal you don't like
2. Vote cold
3. Move on
Why bother making a negative comment?

Personally, I'd rather see justification for the cold votes than see what seems to be a good deal at minus rating.

If everyone is researching the mercury thing, could we not have some links/sources here so we don't all end up doing the same work? Similarly, if this fish is full of heavy metal ( \m/ ) can we point to some that isn't?

Nah, we are good Einstein, let's see your 'research' first! Nice fishing expedition though by issuing demands and pretending to delegate lol

I seen on John West site (when I was researching contamination due to above comments) they have a 50p off voucher for these tins and Tesco are selling single tins for £1 so even better than my Farmfoods suggestion you could pick up three single tins for £1.50 if you use multiple emails for vouchers! Won't let me print it from phone though says need use computer.

Haha! Usually I pop into the local take away and ask for some plain cooked pitta bread to have with the tuna and cheese so that possibly makes it worse. I do sprinkle some seasoning on top for the kicks.
Thankfully its just a delicacy I have from time to time rather than a regular post workout protein injection as I couldn't cope with all the stress of plating it up daily.

Was it John West tuna which wasn't/isn't dolphin friendly? Have they changed how they catch the fish or was it another brand?

Those comments you are referring to make me look up and read about the possibility of mercury poisoning from this product, something I wouldn't have otherwise known. Granted a link would have been useful. However I learn many, many useful things from the comments on this site. It would be boring if all the comments were along the lines of 'good deal'.
And there are many people who scream the second their deal is cold without any justification in the comments.

Been doing a bit of fishing and no drain packs are just under £5 in most supermarkets and the farm food price is for standard and not no drain.

Farmfoods is the exact same product. Have been buying it for a few months when I pass along with their £1 grated cheese (can't remember the brand) that's £3 everywhere else. Maybe not available everywhere but definitely sell no drain in the Glasgow ones.

I still wash and drain it

This is the standard price in Farmfoods (£1.99) so wouldn't rush out and stock pile. Oh wait, never mind.

PS: If you buy this many (x13) in Farmfoods print off a voucher and get £2.50 off a £25 shop bringing them down to £1.80 a pack.

Cold for the aforementioned reasons.
