They often do a closed beta like this and then do an open beta when they've tweaked the issues that came up

With a release dat of 14/2 this isn't really a Beta to test anything, more marketing to get you to try it ... hey ho -I'm up for it

A beta is designed to test the servers and online game play. They have to restrict the number of people so they get stable testing. They won't have the sort of capacity that will be present when the game goes live when released

They're daft not making this an open beta instead. Game is gonna need all the exposure it can get, because everything about it points to flop. Pity, because it's probably going to be a great little multiplayer oddity.

I enjoyed it too! Didn't think I'd like it but surprisingly I did. So looking forward to playing it again!
Same. I would imagine we would be already in on it as I was part of the Steep Alpha beta and was able to use that download for the open beta before it went live to everyone that didn't get a code for the week early access.

Says I've already registered. Guessing the people that had the alpha are auto registered?

The apha was really fun I can't wait to have another go. Ubisoft say interest in this beta is 40% higher than others they have offered a similar time before release. Really hoping the full game is worthy of the anticipation X)

Good point, it'll probably be closed

Don't think so. It's most likely a closed beta as we are required to sign up for it and they have done it before only last time not everyone got a code sent out. Not sure if there will be an open beta but if there is then it would be downloadable straight from the store itself. Would need to ask Ubisoft about an open beta.
