This comment is slightly confusing - the first half is great, don't drag it out too long? So you can rush to the worst half? lol

True - I would have just used the discount for a pre-order if I knew it was going to drop a week later, but at the end of the day, I got it for the same price as this deal and it wasn't the lower price when I ordered so no big deal.

Best price I have seen yet. Bought on Amazon with the £10 off deal last week that took it to around the same price, but this should go very hot.

Fab - just ordered it. Played all of them since 7 so couldn't resist.
Need to finish Bloodborne first tho, I'm 140 hours into it (on final couple of bosses in New Game Plus - I missed a dozen or so areas first time round, including all the DLC so had to continue ;-)

gonna wait till updates are out as they change/tighten up the story. By the time the game's actually finished you'll be able to pick this up under £20 no doubt.

Very overrated game. Too much hype. Traded my copy in.

The game is quite incomplete. From leaks and insider information and all together etc this game was rushed out and left out alot of stuff that was meant to be in. Most of this stuff are being added back slowly through updates ever since after launch and dlc's etc

Yeah guides are a shock, usually buy them... need one to go with my collectors edition and usually they fall in price like a stone, but they must have done a limited release!

you can get through it quickly - probably a lot quicker than that - depends on how you decide to play the game - i personally went on the do every sidequest route - got to platinum at 80 hours and currently on about 100 hours after doing the secret dungeons, the randolph quests and the moogle carnival - just a few things to finish off at this point - all of the hunts and maybe seeking out all of the fish and recipes if really bored
might replay ff10 and do more of the end game or delve into witcher 3 goty ed. which i picked up before christmas next
nice to see an ff15 getting so much heat - shows it's pretty well received on the whole - i was surprised to see that the guides have become scarce so soon after release though

Great price. Personally I know I won't get around to playing it for a while so I'll hold out and probably be able to get it cheaper later (planning a replay of VII - X first!).
BUT - if you buy it today you'll be celebrating Final Fantasy VII's 20th anniversary!

great game, I got it on preorder and just about to start the final battle. I played a lot of the side quests and have racked up 39hrs game time.

Probably because the bit where you say "I found the second half is rather linear and dull compared to the open world of the first half" sounds contradictory and is confusing to people who have no experience of the game. lol

How is it confusing? The open world is what you have access to post game. Just get the dull second half out of the way and get back to enjoying the open world

Got this for Christmas and on the final chapter. Was loving it earlier, particularly the open world and the notion of your journeys needing actual planning to save time later.
The later bits have become a bit grindy. I'm not a huge FF player so finding I need to be way past opponents levels to be on a level footing for later bosses and battles (especially the monster hunts) - a colossal stockpile of potions is a necessity for me.
Great price and highly recommended if you're after something different.

This game is not grindy at all. If you switch the easy you can even breeze through the game without using potions

No you'll be fine. I was similar. You'll have one very linear path stage coming up, and a very long but simple final hunt for the Adamantoise. So I'd say keep enjoying it as you have. I hit 75 hours and sold it well before Christmas, but it was as fun as any game I played last year really

Although I find this game to be baffling and at times bat s**t insane, I can't stop playing it!
Tip- Don't drag the first half of the game out too long. I found the second half is rather linear and dull compared to the open world of the first half, causing the game to outstay it's welcome after 50 hours. Just finish the story line and enjoy the post game content.

I too can't stop playing and I'm loving it so far. I'm a bit worried by your comment though - my playtime is about 45 hours so far but I've not cleared Chapter 3...I've been hitting every side mission and hunt I can because it's been such good fun. I'm level 44 and will pick the story up again shortly but it sounds like I might have done this all a bit backwards!

Going to wait for this to drop even further... If only because I'm still not even half way through Gravity Rush 2 (only put in around 4 hours), and because Nier Automata is due in March (which I will be buying Day One).
