Looking very forward to this, it's the only FF I never really ended up playing and the trailers I've seen (plus the battle system) make me want this more than ever. Hope they do some sort of steelbook version, so it can look nice next to my other PS4 FF games.

Ahh my favourite FF. I think I ended up with about 200 hours of blissful gameplay before I moved on to PS3. And I'm ready to do it all again aha.

£30 is too much for a remaster, imo. Played it back on PS2, but didn't make it that far so would like to pick it up again.
Heat for cheapest price though.

Tesco's been at £29.44 for a while for delivery on launch day (never pre-ordered from them before so not sure if that's actually the case)

**** Grainger games. I ordered a preowbed copy of Dynasty Warriors 8 preowbed and it had about 10 huge spots of thick stubborn scum stuck to the disk that I had to clean off. The fact that clearly nobody looked at that disk when it was traded in shows the care they take when conducting their business. Also don't trust their site when it says new either. It's almost 100% certain that it won't be sealed.

With pre-orders, there shouldn't be any worry about not getting a new copy, given that the game's not yet released,

The FF7 one isn't a remaster though, it's a remake, built from the ground up. It'll take a lot longer to create everything from scratch than to put a HD shine on the game.

no they didn't lol
They announced this waay before 7 and people have wanted it since the international version of ffxii came out. Plus this is not a remake like ff7's, since ff7 aged like milk and this didn't.
Fair enough if they have improved the textures thought. But with an emulator you can speed up time to make grinding levels less of a pain and have quick save states.
"International Zodiac Job System
An international version of the game, Final Fantasy XII International Zodiac Job System, was released in Japan on August 9, 2007.[139] It includes twelve License Boards (instead of the original game's one), each corresponding to a different Zodiac sign and job. The player can control guest characters and summons and holding L1 doubles the game's running speed. There is also a "New Game+" option, a "New Game- (minus)" option (in which characters do not gain experience), and a "Trial Mode" in which the player hunts monsters in 100 different maps to gain items and money. The game also includes the western version's English voices and widescreen 16:9 support, and a bonus DVD."
You can find the game's iso on the web (although I won't tell you how to do this) or buy the game off ebay and make an ISO image of it using your pc's disk drive. You may also need to use the ps2's ntsc bios version in order to run the Japanese version.

FFXII emulated on PC will look anything but 'stunning' it's a PS2 game. The PS4 remaster will **** all over your emulation I don't know why you even opened this PS4 thread up if you're just going to bore people with how to play a crap version on PC.
