I ride with two front lights and three back. Makes me cringe when I meet another cyclist with no lights narrowly missing them. Easier ways of committing suicide me thinks

Yep, you need a light front and back when its dark, otherwise someone can kill you without even knowing and there wont be much to be done against them.
Sort of - except that people generally survive sodomy with little more than a sore bum.

Your life is worth more than 99p.
Never use cheap lights like these singly because if your cheap rear light stops working, you probably wont know anything about it until you get an SUV up the ar5e...

So expensive rear light don't fail or the batteries don't run out??? That's good to know.

In fairness, my recollection of Eveready lights was that they were dim and ate batteries like mad. I bet these are loads better!

Actually went out tonight and bought two packs of these from the East Kilbride store, before closing at 6 pm. Still some left. Still displayed as £3.99 but scanning at £0.99.

Wish they would hand them out at the border so the people fresh off the boat would be visible on their bikes at night, make it just a tiny bit easier for us to not run them over.

Don't assume it's only migrants when it could be anyone riding late especially rich local English carbon fibre bike owners.

This. When I drive through the industrial estate by me at 6am there's loads all coming out the factorys weaving all over The roads dressed in black. On a rainy morning it is frightening. Is there a law against riding a bike without lights?

Poundland prices but a named brand. For 99p can't be bad as a second light.

Not a named brand any more B&Ms own brand, they just licence the name. Not Eveready of old.
