If you regularly use 2GB a month this is a good deal, but it's not so good for the way I and lots of other people use prepaid data sims.
I have a 12GB Three sim in my Mifi, and I might use nothing for a few months, then use lots in a few days when on holiday etc. With the Three sims you don't get a set amount per month, so you can use it as quickly or slowly as you want, until the expiry date (one year for the 12GB sims) or the data runs out.

Not too bad if I understand correctly - at the moment I'm finishing off my Asda mobile xmas mega bundle of 20gb for this month (kids will download games to finish it off), but really only needed around 8gb maximum for ebay and other bits.
I can't get a 3 signal here, but o2 is excellent, although I only get 1gb for £10 every month on payg.
In other words, this is actually £3.33 per month for 2gb of data ? Quite good........ anyone know of anything better ?

I dont have landline broadband at home and currently have three 24gb which lasts me 5 weeks. The 24gb deal is no longer available so its back to 12 GB. three is good for EU.

Sorry if these are silly questions but I am not familiar with the concept of preloaded PAYG SIM card. Although this deal seems hot to me, could someone be kind enough to let me know the following:
- How easy is it to get my mobile number transferred to this new SIM card (I'm already a PAYG EE/Orange customer) ?
- Can I still top it up for texts and calls usage and do I still get my standard free texts (Dolphin plan) or is it not compatible
- How can you tell when the 2Gb of data has ran out in the month, will it just stop working (data that is not the phone) or will it start using extra credit I may have added ?
Thanks in advance

did anyone know that when you buy any preloaded SIM that after six months if you haven't used it it automatically cut off, I had a preloaded data SIM for two years bought it 99p for emergencies as it said on eBay expires 2024, but apparently that date is for the top up card that comes with it. WHY would you need a expiry date on a useless piece of plastic card?

Not bad for low usage. if you need more data you can get 10Gb EE prepaid for a month on eBay for £13 but clock starts ticking as they despatch it. useful for router if your broadband is down while changing providers or on house move. no calls (WhatsApp and similar work). meant for dongle, tablet, mifi or you can use in spare phone as hotspot.

Not so long ago you could get 10gb EE data for £10. Seems the price is creeping up!

yes they were a tenner until around Nov. I work in IT and issue lots of 3/4G solutions and find EE always fastest with Three good with only sniff of a signal. Trialling multi network Sims atm which connect to any network which is available but pricey.

Hmmm it's a micro sim, need a nano sim. Looks like I'm stuck with the Three one.

The EE Ones I bought were pop out all sizes. pound shops do a selection of SIM carriers with iPhone SIM tool for surprisingly a pound!

Does this run on 2G as well?
And how long does the data last for, 12 months?
