It's £10.99 at Base but it regularly drops to under a tenner (I watch their Vita selection far too closely). I'd never played EDF before when I purchased this (because I liked the cover). I thought it was awful to begin with, but after a couple of missions I was having a blast and then I just completely fell in love with it. The guy that screams "Oh, my god THEY'RE HUUUGE" over the radio waves cracks me up every time. Like Mr McTabish said, EDF. EDF. EDF!!!

With EDF2 I think it's worth buying physical for the cover art alone.

Yet the HUKD crowd will often criticise digital because it doesn't have any resale value. You can't win :stuck_out_tongue:

Yeah I think the reason it's not is because this game is currently in the sale on the playstation store for £6.49.

Just took it from 1 to 6 heat  Thought that'd be hotter!
Just had a little play at lunchtime... EDF2017 Portable has better graphics and sound than EDF2 but the gameplay is pretty similar. With EDF2 you can choose from three different ranger types, whereas with EDF2017 you've only got the one. The chat over the the radio is pretty funny in EDF2, whereas it can get a little repetitive on 2017. I've already turned up the sound effects volume and dropped it on the chatter. I'd be tempted to start off with 2017 based on the fact that it's a little more slick, and I've not seen it reduced so heavily before, where as EDF2 is available for around about a tenner most of the time anyway. EDF2017 will take up 632MB on your memory card.

Good shout. Might hold off for EDF2 to drop below £10 again (well aware I'm being ridiculous about the extra 99p Base is charging at £10.99). Thanks again, dude!

Awesome! Can't go wrong for £4.99, but not sure if it's worthwhile owning both.

I'm just downloading EDF 2017 now, so I might be able to tell you more later!

Any thoughts on EDF 2 vs EDF 2017? Would you recommend one over the other? Or both?
Hard to come by physical copies these days. Good shout op.

Nice one! New obsession: buying physical copies of Vita games.

Hi, thank you for pointing out the next cheapest online retailer, seeing as 365games has changed the price to £11.99.
I have now updated the deal and have given credit to you.

Cheeky question: Any chance you could post next time it's under £10?

I was impressed with this version. They managed to carry over the same sense of frantic OOT action. No way I'll ever 100% this (I'm only on 37% of 4.1 after grinding for yonks), but it's definitely worth it.
Opening post
EDIT: No longer £9.89 @ 365games. Thanks to @Curlynob for pointing out that Base.com now has this game for £10.99.
