While I still disagree with you on RRP and the rip off merchants charging double the actual worth of this item solely due to a low supply I will humbly stand corrected on my use of the English language.

Showing a lack of understanding both RRP and the English language in a single post... Nice one :-P
For the vast majority of products, consumers determine the true value by what they are willing to pay, and that market value is all that matters. Otherwise discounts on RRP offered by retailers such as Sports Direct would be hot deals every day of the week.
"Coz" is an informal abbreviation recognised by the Oxford dictionary. "Cause" as you like to put it, is the wrong word, and makes no sense. It does however, "cause" you to come across a little hypocritical.

£49.99 is a recommended retail price only, if these have been selling elsewhere for over £100 for months now I say its a good deal,if someone was selling De Lorean Back to the future lego sets for £40 I would call it a brilliant deal even though the retail was way lower when available.
Thanks op for posting ignore the naysayers.heat.

It's RRP and a stock alert. Cause idiots are buying something on ebay at twice the price or cause CEX etc are trying to rip people off with inflated prices does not make RRP a deal. Sorry.

Game in Sutton Coldfield said they are expecting delivery soon too. Must be deliveries nationwide soon. Be patient... I also can't wait for the SNES version - A patent was applied for on the 5th Dec by Nintendo for a SNES controller.

You can essentially double the amount of games on it (as things stand). No one is entirely sure how much storage there is in them as it's not as simple as just connecting it to a PC and using it as a flash drive.
60 games is the vast majority of the best games on the system so is plenty. A quick Google will tell you all you need to know.

It will depend on whether you're already into classic Nintendo games. Most of them are difficult and frustrating and some of them people will have played to death over the years.
I bought this to allow me to sell my Nintendo collection, which is gathering dust on my shelf as the NES is temperamental, as are the games. It also allows me to play games which I can't be bothered to shell out massive money for just to play for an hour and finish.
Whether you come back to it will depend on a number of pre-existing factors. Do you like retro games? Have you any fondness for the titles that come pre-packaged? Do you like tough but short games?
Worth remembering that these games would cost £150 on Virtual Console alone (already ignoring Rasberry Pi crowd).

I totally agree about the rip-off merchants doubling the price, no question. But, I think that's slightly different, and soemthing like this can be a good deal at the same time. I paid £55 plus delivery for one of these, and was quite happy with that.
Or, maybe the majority of comments that come accross that way to some, were actually meant tongue in cheek or in a manner of jest. IDK ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I agree that it's a good price and probably a future collectors item. How are you finding it? Is the emulation decent? I'd assume so as it's official Nintendo, unlike my Retroduo which in theory was brilliant but the sound in general was terrible and some of the emulation was a bit sketchy so it's just gathering dust.
And RE the second comment, it was taken tongue in cheek

The emulation is excellent. The controller (designed as more of an add on for the Wii imo) and reset button can be a bit annoying to use though. I really wish it had a Bluetooth controller option built in - 3rd party ones with their dongle really ruin the aesthetics. Looks brilliant, and that encourages you to play it. Great community mods and hacks, which can only get better as availability improves (if it ever does).

One for me, one for each of my siblings (that's 3 more), two for secret santa's, one for the childrens ward I work on, two for Teenage Cancer Trust charities, and one for collectible sake. And all of these were from different retails.

Would have been nice if Duck Hunt and the Clayshooting game was included with a gun peripheral option. I think Nintendo should bring back the gun peripheral for the modern home console gaming. I know they are keen to veer away from perceptions of violence, but if they made the gun games family friendly that's alright isn't it? Arcades are full of non-violent gun games for kids.
wissychraddle to noahsdad

not sure they can. I am sure the old gun used to make use of the tubes in old CRT sets. With flat screens, it wouldn't work, hence why modern consoles have to have light sensing cameras.
