Nice, just change the price. Surely that's not allowed. This deal wasn't this price 3 days ago and should of expired. It's really annoying when you post a deal so someone changes their price from days or weeks ago so then yours is then a re post.

Calm yourself down. What's up with you?
Even if the price hadn't have changed, it would still be a re-post, as anything less than a pound always is. I saw the drop on Twitter, adjusted the price to reflect. What's the point in spamming the site of a 13p drop?

I was going on when the 12 month sub was £17.09, I see there's nothing like that going at the minute though.
In fairness I'll probably have paid a much higher cost per month (of actual use) by the time my 12 months are up. I'll probably get no more than 4/5 months true value out of it.
One thing though, when the months sub elapses, do you lose (for example) BF4 from your games list or what happens?
When you resub do you have to download it again? I'm guessing you just pick up where you left off thanks to the saves going to the hard drive?

It downloads to the hdd, if your membership expires it will ask you if you own the game to insert the disc. It works on a flagged membership basis and just checks on membership whenever you access it, if that check fails it checks for ownership - it will never remove it from your hdd unless you make the request.

Still think if you can afford it, buy the 12 month sub.
If you buy 8 codes at this cost and add them as and when you wish, you'll have spent the equivalent of a 12 month sub.
I understand the flexibility of only being 'tied' for a month if you've got other games/commitments on your plate but surely the 4 extra months you'd get in a yearly sub (at no extra cost) justifies being signed up for the year?
Irrespective of all that ^ there's no doubt this is good value for a months access.

No, I totally get all that. My point was that it's different strokes for different folks
It's not a case of me not being able to afford it, I just choose not to. My Xbox Live subscriptions are paid a year in advance because I know I need it, daily. I'm not disputing the value of the yearly subscription (by the way, it's 3 extra months at this price, not 4), I'm just saying it doesn't suit everybody.
You can't really call it value when you're not using it. I honestly can't remember playing a title on EA Access in the last 8 weeks (since I purchased Battlefront Ultimate Edition), that already would be two month's lost for a service I'd have been paying for on a yearly service. That to me isn't value and totally devalues the yearly subscription.
But, I fully appreciate that people do use it a lot, and for them, the yearly service is an awesome purchase.

If you just want a month to try it out this deal is just ok, but otherwise you would be better just subscribing at the regular £20 for 12 months....

Why? I buy my EA Access monthly as and when needed. There's nothing really on there at the moment that I'll play due to FH3, BF1, GoW4 and TF2 (and Skyrim when I can fit it in). I've just topped my account up with a pass that came with an S and a code I bought of FS/FT for £2. We'll see where I'm at with the service come March before I top up another month.
EA Access is a really great service if you play the games every day, for those of us that don't, the ability to dip in and out when we choose far overdoes the 'value' of tying down to a year's subscription to save £4 or so. Especially given the fact you're hardly ever using it.

Oh. And it's almost 50% off RRP. I'd say that's a tad more than 'OK'.
