other companies like amazon,JL etc put such items in boxes with proper packaging.
whether it's cost more or not is not relevant.
I also bought Borderland stories with it from game and they sent a used copy instead of new.

That's hardly a surprise, these editions normally do as they aren't filled out with anything, and the envelopes they post in don't really protect them

Rubbish game, was bored with it after an hour, repetitive mindless shooting with no variation... great graphics but no substance.

It's more the 90s shooters I'm no good at. That rely on pinpoint accurate shooting and reaction times. Not much variation like th chap above mentioned

I'm 32 and played the original doom on PC yonks ago. Still have PTSD as a result :smile:

It's traditional as in 90's traditional not like COD oor Battlefield. It's the one of if not the best fps in decades for many.
There's a free demo on steam and psn(I presume also on xbox). It's the first level which is a great opening. If you are not sold by the end of it you probably won't like the game.

It's not about liking. I know they've had bad reviews but I normally give every game a go and judge for myself. Especially at those prices. Didn't really like the Doom beta but at this price I would've bought it and given it a go.

I've been contemplating getting this for a month or two now but as its been sitting consistently at £15 I never felt any urgency to commit. I'm happy I waiting it out and got it for £12.60, even if it drops to £10 tomorrow or it's free on GWG/PS+ next month, it's small enough 'loss' that I won't be kicking myself for biting too soon.

Doom is an awesome game ... really well coded too .... i played it on PC at 60 fps, and was curious to see how it played on the ps4 ... so i downloaded it on the ps4 and was supprised that it ran really smoothly ... was very impressed .... seemed as good as the pc version to me, but i only had a quick look

I'm just about to plat it and have had no problems with trophies (got the game for xmas). I have 2 more single player trophies to get but have the major ones which are noted as being glitched.

Just make sure you are playing with the latest patch which is a scary 29gb.

Been waiting for this to go cheap but at this price it is a must, although probably just sit waiting to be played like a few other titles. Heat added :smile:
