Excellent price!
Fantastic game with a great sense of identity, an absolute steal for a tenner!

Ridiculously good campaign. Was hard for me to go from Doom to Dishonoured 2. Rock fuelled pacing, hectic gorefests, insane weapons.. to.. pottering around, hiding behind stuff, picking up glasses. Reading the odd manuscript about fish sales.

Yeah, I find Dishonoured boring too.

how many maps are there in the vanilla release?
I take it this is diseased with DLC content also?
I'll wait for a GOTY version if there is DLC...

Hey all, I loved the original Doom and Quake. However I have a PC that is a little old with these specs: Intel Xeon CPU E5345 @ 2.33Ghz, 8GB RAM, 64 bit windows, and an old ish (6 years) Nvidia Geforce graphics card (not on this PC, and can't remember, which doesn't help much) Like the original games, can I just turn the resolution down on these and so have a chance of playing this on my old machine? I've seen the recommended specs, and appreciate I'm not very close to those(!)

Im running a i5-650 3.2ghz, 8gb ram, gtx 750ti. It runs like an absolute dream. I have the specs high enough that the game looks superb, but from what I know the game was highly optimised. I was genuinely surprised how well it ran.

Not likely.Minimum recommended specs are
Windows 7, Windows 8.1, Windows 10 (64-bit versions only)
Intel Core i5-2400 or better / AMD FX-8320 or better
8 GB RAM
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 670 (2GB) or better / AMD Radeon HD 7870 (2GB) or better
Up to 22GB HDD space
Steam account
Broadband internet connection
So probably not.

There's a free demo of the opening level on steam. Best way to find out if it will run or not
Good game, I did start to find it repetitive during the last 1/4 though. Ended up putting the difficulty down just to get it over and done with

£10 for this? Wow. Great game. Massive fun factor compared to modern shooters where you're messing about in cover. Just dodge and shoot.

Great great game. I'm about 3/4 through it on Hurt Me Plenty. I had to put the difficulty down to get past those two big **** after that massive door in Lazarus Labs. Well worth a tenner.

Its suprisingly good, well worth a Tenner. You'll play more than 10 mins thats for sure, they nailed every aspect bang-on. I lost interest near the end but i seem to do that with all games its not the game, not as good as ''John Romero's Daikatana'' but it was never mean't to be.
