Though I liked Doom 3, it's a wildly different game to the recent reboot. Doom 3 focussed a lot more on horror and the gameplay was considerably slower and more claustrophobic. Doom (2016) is the real follow up to the Doom of old and one of the best shooters in years.

Thanks, that's helpful. Looking around it seems like I can get doom 3 for around £3 off the flea. wondered if its worth giving that a go first to see if I like it after all these years and then maybe moving up to a later version.

Excuse my ignorance. I don't normally play games but thought I would have a play with this as remember playing with it off 1.44Mb floppies years ago! If I buy a key from here where do I download the product from. Their site isn't very clear.

Check the link in the email you'll have received to get your code. You'll then have to copy and paste it into Steam. If you need a hand with Steam there are a lot of guides, but you'll be wanting to find an option to activate a product code. Input it on there and you can download and play from the Steam client. Enjoy! Cracking game.
