Indeed. Just trying to mitigate someone coming on here asking "how do these perform with music?"

These remind me exactly of the Boston Acoustics Soundware XS.
Is the subwoofer passive or active?
The Bostons are decent.

No its a price match deal. They beat the price of competitors so you have to ring and quote the deal or get it instore quoting deal.

I agree it's a great deal. Heat added.
My only reservation is clarity across frequencies. With only a single driver per satellite these will be excellent for effects on surround sound, but audiophiles (not me!) will not enjoy music via these.
Again, for visually discrete surround sound, it's a cracker. Just don't buy blind (deaf?) if you are after music as an equal or greater use of these. Always go and hear them, for which Richer Sounds are unmatched (if you like lollipops and icepops in summer :stuck_out_tongue:)!

Looks like i'm gogin to have to place them behind the TV when my new one comes.. my stand is the exact length of the TV. my unit is in the corner of a room so cant really mount speakers.

An AV receiver is needed sadly.

Hi, can I just stick the Aux cable into the TV? Or is this tech useless without the AV Receiver? Thanks.

Mount them on the wall above the TV... its only one hole per speaker.
Or place them behind the telly. Still works well.

I think most people have their speakers on the left and right of their TV..

Why dont they make satellite speakers with a max height of 10cm, thats the average clearance under a TV on a stand and if you use the full length of your stand these will be in front of the actual picture, these turned on there side square would fit the bill. but thats too easy lol..

You wouldn't get much stereo separation that way, unless you have a huge TV

Anyone know how these compare to the Boston Acoustics XS 5.1?

Those have tweeters. I guess they'll have better highs but without hearing them, can't say for sure.

You'll need an AV receiver for these, so that will up the cost by another £200 or more, unless you buy second hand. Sound wise. Honestly no idea
