I have bought from Dell before and their 'scratch and dent' is nothing, extremely minor as New condition. Use code BIGSALE171 for 10% off also.
Several other models available. Maybe some better than this!

I can only find these for a final price of £333.
Does anyone think it's worth paying the extra £20 for the i5-7200U?

So my delivery of one of these came on Thursday. I'm very pleased but I was wondering does anyone know if it is possible to replace the dvd for a ssd drive on this model and are there any guides out there, thanks.

It seems random for me. Often get a black screen when loading particular games - alt tabbing shows an error box that when googling brings up loads of results tied to AMD switchable graphics on dell laptops.

The Dell/7200u has a better CPU (20% overall).
The HP/A12 has a better GPU (30%).
If you're gaming at all the A12 is the clear winner.

Graphics wise they're both the same. I think Dell have a miss print. The graphics should be R7 M445, not sure where they got the X from. Either way should be ok for light gaming prior to 2015. May struggle with new titles on low settings as for the CPU the I5-7200U is a good deal better.
It is. Kaby Lake CPU's on laptops provide around a 15% bump in cpu & gpu performance.

if u ask I would say yes, new tech is always better but doesn't make big difference in reality, actually the time I bought there was a code with 20 off so that's why I got this price, so far happy with laptop.............

It was OOS as soon as the deal went up. There hasn't been anything of equivalent price/spec since.

I've had several 'scratch n' dent' computers from Dell and most are brand new looking (I suspec they are), one desktop had some slight marks so had been a customer return I reckon but has been perfect for 4 years.
scratch n dent is like scratch n sniff but less smelly.

No, they will be barely better than the intel integrated GPU and you'll have problems with some games refusing to use the radeon.
