Go have an argument in messages or something, no one wants to see a game of verbal ping pong under a deal
Some decent deals there, wish the Balderdash wasnt OOS, but largely a disappointing January sale yes
Compared to pre Xmas/Black Friday, that is, heat tho

In their haste to part consumers from their hard earned retailers seem to offer deals or have "sales" throughout the year. Even in the run up to Christmas some retailers offer discounts, so no wonder January sales are largely an anti climax for many.:man:

@Gemmakindle92 yes the sale is instore too but hit & miss on sizes basically all the good stuff is gone (well thats my personal experience ) even with 70% off items are still overpriced, not appealing & bad quality. Also most of the stuff I personally wanted to buy are not in the 'blue cross sale'

You should try shopping Debenhams Ireland. It's cheaper for me to buy in Debenhams UK and get it delivered to my door in Ireland than pay for the exact same item instore or on their Irish site. Like a poster on here I had a voucher that I struggled to get rid of. They have some beautiful clothes but it is waay overpriced.

Thanks for the deal. I guess it's me, but it took me an age to find stuff & then when I went to pay some of my things were out of stock! (Is that because I was slow?) Frustrating, but got a few good bits! Cheers!

Could NOT agree more. The "music" there is WAAAAY beyond mere "cr*p" but the people shopping there are not moronic 12-15 year old who even THEY would think "What is this sh*t ?" so why inflict it on the rest of us. Puts me off shopping there, sure enough

I've had a £50 Debahams voucher for six months and can't find anything worth spending it on.
If it was John Lewis it would be gone in five minutes.

Miserable store. The one I went to in Cambridge made me queue up at the till for 15 mins to try on a shirt, then flat refused to let me try on another.

Mayyyybeeeeeeeee! But I won't believe it until I see the receipts. I think British people (and many other nationalities) are just mindless consumers these days - no need to court them now.

So you've never been to a sale where you've overspent or wished you'd bought more ? I have. Debenhams is normally better than this. Same applies to M&S. Poor this year

Name me one sale that isn't? Remember Boxing day and January sales in this country a few years ago? Disappeared. What happens instead every January ... the train fares get hiked up again. Bend-over Britain where people don't need sales or low travel fares, because more people are willing spend credit they don't have. It's all the rage now.

Perfect Ty, spent a £100 gift voucher on 2 new dinner sets, cups to match and a new cutlery set, if you go by the original selling prices, then it has made for a very healthy saving and used up one of our wedding gift vouchers
