I bought two of these for my kids. They are aweful.
the app is clunky at best and connection to them dreadful. Any messages sent have to be approved by logging into the app first and then manually sent to the toy. Its a really poor UI and really not worth the effort.
My 6yr old asked me why she just couldn't record herself and play it back on the toy. that would have been a much better use for these.
The price is ok for the soft toy itself but I would ignore the connectivity features.

reviews suggest the app is pants and the toys themselves have been discontinued....

we got our 4 year old to record a message for our 18 month old and when the elder stayed away for a night our youngest kept pressing the button to hear his voice. cute.

I always feel toys that connect to the internet are dangerous. How many toy manufacturers have you heard of that are also anti-virus or anti-hacking experts? Rather just keep to regular toys for my kids

My son and daughter love theirs, I got them for £5.99 just before Christmas and every night my son says mommy send me message to go sleep and he'll play it while he's in bed and cuddle it till he's asleep, the free app isn't great but it does work fine for me but the £3.99 app is a lot better

My daughter had one for Xmas. It's a nightmare. Definitely only buy it as a cuddly toys as the app side of it will make you want to pull your hair out.

As I already said, buy it for the soft toy factor and not the tech. I paid this much a few months ago and they are just cuddly toys

i found this toy well worth the money for the features-wasn't sure how much it would be used as little'un enjoys just sending voice messages through my phone but i leave for work very early a lot/get home while she's asleep so can leave a wee message for her to wake up to when she's missing me.
granted i wouldnt pay full wack but it gets used plenty here.
security feature of vetting it thru the app was a pain at first but i'd rather that than she gets random messages from round the world!

These are fab. My two love theirs! App works fine in mine and hubs android phones.
We got bought one of these for Christmas for our daughter. She loves the teddy and really likes getting messages from both her grandmas. The app isn't great but once you've figured it out it's not exactly a huge hassle to approve the message and send it to the teddy. The full app is (or was when I got it) free on Android but I think it costs a couple of quid on iOS.
