Hot from me! Great deal for £10! M&S food is generally better than supermarkets - their chicken fillets with sweet and sour sauce is miles better than Asda's, the spring rolls are better than Asda, Tesco and Sainsbury's, their bakery items are much tastier. The only thing I have ever had from them that wasn't great was pizza and I have shopped there for food for many years

Good deal, ignoring naysayers M&S last I checked provide a better standard of food. Some of it will be the same as other supermarkets but there's also plenty that isn't.

Most definitely not 'real' Chinese food.

Nice deal - 3 x spare ribs would cost well over £10 alone.

Microwavable garbage?
You can trust the quality of the ingredients and you know that you won't get food poisoning from eating a Marks and Spencer chilled meal.
If a Chinese take-away is only charging you a fiver for a meal and rice, you worry that they are cutting corners somewhere!

My chinese takeaway does a main and rice for a fiver and you get enough for 2 people (big trays), a side would cost you about 3 quid. For me id prefer to just get a takeaway

I was expecting this. ~rubs hands together~
The crispy chilli beef is nice. ^_^
They used to do prawns with water chestnuts and ginger which was lovely but that seems to have disappeared which is a shame. (;_;)

...but you are trying to compare M&S food to Tesco and Asda...there is quite a difference! :smirk:

Please feel free to explain the differences, other than being more expensive, since you brought it up?
