I don't know the non prime price so please inform me, anyway i am looking at putting the TV on the wall and have spotted this. The reviews seems great but any of your feedback would be appreciated.
The APFMSB is Cheetah's Ultra low profile mount. With a profile of 1" from the wall, it's perfect for a clean install where the mount is completely hidden and the TV looks as flush as possible, leaving just enough room for cables to fit behind the TV. The purchase also includes a Twisted Veins 10' Braided HDMI Cable and 6" 3-Axis Magnetic Bubble Level.
This mount fits up to VESA 420 x 400 (16.5" horizontal and 15.75" Vertical) hole patterns, great for most TV in the 20-55" range. It installs into 2 studs, holds up to 115 lbs., and is manufactured from 100% high grade steel. The APFMSB also includes an easy lock and unlock system with adjustable height pull tabs.

That all sounds a bit tiring for this time of night. Maybe I'll just buy this and store it for four years behind the TV.

Cable is great. Mount is great. I got it from an HUKD deal a few years back!
i also got this generic feels flimsy mount a few year ago. can confirm they are worth the money. Dont panic when you unpack it and it can flex :stuck_out_tongue:

You are better off with metal anchor butterfly plasterboard screws ,I have similar from eBay with 8 anchors on hollow board as no studwork in height I wanted .Mount is rock solid holding 49" Philips with ease.

Can someone who bought this please tell me how thick this is from the wall to the front of the bracket please? Don't fully trust the measurements as I just had to return one by another brand. Im using it in a very tight spot

Yes, anchors or spring toggles on decent plasterboard.

Only problem I can see with these slim mounts is getting access to cables. I went for one on an arm and can highly recommend it:
I also have an LED 55 inch, I just wasn't sure if the holes will line up with the bracket.

Loads of this type on eBay for similar money minus cable .As for will it fit my TV you will have to measure the square on the back of TV ,4 mounting screws hold the bracket to TV ,that's the vesa size ,a lot are universal so will fit from 100mm to 400mm.ultimately the fitting of the bracket to the wall is the important aspect ,Even a plasterboard wall will hold a 55" led TV using the correct fixtures and plenty of anchors .plasmas are a different ball game as weight is a lot greater.

Pretty sure i have this TV (http://www.hdtvtest.co.uk/news/sony-kdl42w653-201308113237.htm) and have been too lazy to get it on the wall as my old wall mount wasnt compatible.
Anyone able to give a quick yes or no if this is compatible? Am at work and can check properly in a couple of hours but dont want to miss out if its a bargain.

I have a bracket on the wall left in the house I moved into. to save messing up the wall, can I use it?. How do I tell what 2 brackets fit to the plate left on the wall and how do I attach it to the tv. What screws do you use and where do you get them from. I have a 50 inch hisense tv. I have google searched everywhere and all I can find is a whole new wall bracket which would involve removing this one and trying to put another one in its place. Thanks for your help.

Arrived today. Great value. Love the free bonus light up key ring! This is perfect for the 4K tv I got on Sunday from here as well. Sold my plasma for the same as I paid for the 4K tv! Well happy
I ordered this one recently for a 59" TV, mounted it and have no complaints.

1st of all. just, look for any imperfections as in nail head blemishes on the plaster, this might give you a clue
Then, use a Cable/Metal detector to pin point where the nails are
And thirdly, just knock on the wall and you will hear a change in tone
be careful where you drill, try using a bradall 1st to test (by hand)
Some mounts are too slim to enable access for some hdmi cables so what I did was fix an old 2cm thick shelf flat to the wall (using plasterboard fixings and straight through the joists) then fixed mt slim mount to this (screw straight through the wood)
It takes my 55 incher no problem, after all, can't give the missus anything to complain about can I !

Brilliant wall mount, very easy to set up, has a convenient hooking system so you can still take the tv off if you need to. Comes with a HDMI wire which is actually a very decent cable, it's braided and long, would definitely cost you £3+ elsewhere. Highly recommend this wall mount, it's brilliant! Had mine for about a year now.

I assume from the picture this is a fixed bracket. not even a tilt?

I was shopping for a bracket a couple weeks back and that was why I skipped this one - no tilt function. May be OK for some, but getting a down angle is helpful when it's above eye level.
I prefer the tilt and swivel wall brackets. Got one before Christmas for about £15 off Amazon.
Though it only cost me £10 as for some reason Amazon couldn't be bothered putting the item in a box and slapped the delivery sticker onto the box the bracket was in instead! Was lucky it didn't open in transit. So complained to em and they refunded me £5
Hopefully was a one off on how they post wall brackets
Hear added.Used one of these to mount a Mini Cooper on my local dealerships outer wall for advertising purposes.

Their mounts are great and the cable is good but it's not compliant to latest standards so don't push too much bandwidth through it and you'll be fine.

As above. I used magnets which detected the nail heads attaching the plasterboard to the joists (magnets came from a dead hard drive). Screwed a piece of MDF between the joists and then the bracket onto the MDF. This also gave it a tilt.

I bought this one a couple of years ago, great value for the price. Not the absolute best quality but once mounted is very strong and solid. Just beware, mine didn't tilt 15° as advertised, only approx 10°, which does make quite a difference In some situations.
thank your for your kind and informative response.

Can't see why this deal has become hot.
There are lots of TV wall brackets on Ebay at better prices than this.
Examples ( All UK sellers with fast delivery ) :
I was reluctant to buy off ebay because I don't have knowledge of Wall Brackets. At HDUK people discussed the mentioned product which gave me confidence that the product was suitable for my TV and it has enough tilt etc so I bought one....
