Most of infinity ward left the studio after mw2. They went and created Respawn entertainment who make titanfall. So the IW today, arent the same guys who made modern warfare 1&2.

IW is that bad. Its easily the worst COD game even making COD Ghosts look good. You can also get the 5% discount for liking CD key's facebook page which should knock a few quid off the price plus you aren't held hostage owning a crappy game.

People object to having to pay for Infinity War when they just want MWR. Getting it from CD Keys you actually have to pay more to not have IW and IW isn't quite that bad....

Its not legitimate but it still counts and most people were begging to buy it separately and thats exactly what happened but most people still dont know of this method. I bought it for 40 pounds but even then it wasn't worth the price.

Yeah it has AI bots but killing them is a good way of getting your Titan faster so they are definitely useful.

You can't buy it separately "legitimately". The download version of the Legacy Edition is two separate codes and MWR doesn't require IW, so CD Keys started selling them separately at half the price of Legacy. Of course everyone bought MWR and nobody bought IW so MWR price quickly got jacked up and up due to demand, now it costs £49.99 on CD Keys, MORE than buying both physically.

Titanfall 2 is very good. Campaign is fun and has some amazing levels and the multiplayer is addictive. I have both the standalone MWR and Titanfall 2 and I have played Titanfall 2 more as its more fun.

​I might go back to BO3 im level 450ish I think, had a few of the new weapons (another thing IW missed out on) I only bought IW on release because of Argos glitch and BO3 got free basically cause I sold the fridge!!

The Modern Warfare remaster plays just as it did a console ago, bringing with it the nostalgia of multiplayer mayhem. The recent update delivered 6 more multiplayer maps for free which was a welcome addition. It's too bad we couldn't have purchased the remaster on its own.

Like I say, I do hope it does die because it's an awful game. I doubt the production costs are even that much though. It's a simple copy and paste of previous games. Do a search on youtube. They even recycle a lot of the scenes from the old games. Lazy devs.

Sales have been decreasing ever since Black ops 2. If the sales were amazing Activision would be shouting from the rooftops. COD franchise won't die overnight but with sales going down the toilet and the games not being cheap to develop it will die sooner or later.

So the other 19 games below it on the charts are all flops also? It may be the worst CoD ever and have the lowest sales to date but it outsold everything since launch. I'm not sticking up for it. As a gamer I hate what CoD has done to the online FPS genre but it's far from a flop. Lower sales than average, yes.

You should just play Black ops 3 instead as its superior to Infinite warfare in every way. Also nothing will get me to buy another COD again as its not just the futuristic settings I have a problem with. The games still have outdated mechanics, awful hit detection, server and netcode issues and greedy tactics like locking powerful weapons into lootboxes and paid DLC spitting the userbase.

Like you I have bought Titanfall 2 and its the best shooter I have played in a long time.

​I still find myself playing it though :neutral_face: when MW3 came out after a few prestiges I went back to BO1 and appreciated it more because of MW3, MW2 kept my expectations high but went down hill from there, like the other guy said most the original team made Titanfall thats why I bought that game!! soon as I could, Sledgehammer games are next and they failed imo the only COD I never prestiged was AW but they may suprise us as rumours suggest boots on the ground will be back!

Doesn't mean anything. Its sales are massively down from Black ops 3, even Infinity Fraud knew the game was trash so they had to remaster COD 4 and force people to buy the expensive editions if they wanted it and its been massively discounted at every retailer. It also will have cost alot to make. Its a flop whether its number 1 or not.

BF1 is the hipster game to play at the moment.

It's number 1 in the UK games retail charts. I fully agree that CoD has run it's course but people are still playing it.

Infinity Ward should be renamed to "Infinity Fraud".

Even with massive discounts and MWR this turd still flopped. I bet with MWR Activision thought they hit the jackpot but it still flopped. If it wasn't for MWR it would have done even worse.

It's getting there. As soon as it hits £35 I'll bite. Hope Activision learned a big lesson from this release.

​Yeh they failed this year badly, but as ppl say thsts why they bundled COD4! I used to be opposite loved IW and wasnt too keen on Treyarch but as the years progressed and IW split I played Treyarch more, IW seem to go backwards, MW3 looked outdated in graphics then IW now is BO3 with less interface, the "taunts" are terrible no talking or animation (much) no superb reward for getting all camos, stats are still broken, spm screwed, duplicate challenges for same thing (RC8) ill stop before I bore to death :laughing:

tried to trade this in at Game yesterday. £8..........yes £8........... Won't price match cex on it (£20)+£1 as the normal version (ps4) is only £20 new......

That says it all that even COD pros and YouTubers don't even want to play this turd. Literally no one on my friends list even bought Infinite Warfare except one or two. I think people will avoid any COD not from Treyarch. COD is washed up and people are finally realising it.

COD IW is pretty dire. Much prefer BF1
