Just got new voucher codes for burger king. Unlike the app codes you can use them every time you order. I know not everyone goes to BK but many of you might do and I know many store do hide them from customers.

Some of the useful ones are
2 Croissan'which for £1.99 - BB74
2 BLT Chicken for £2.49 - BB71
Regular Fries for 50p - BB77
Whopper + Fries for £2.99 - BB70
Chicken Royale for £1.99 - BB73
Bacon Double Cheesburger for £1.99 - BB72

All are valid till 31/3/17

Why would anyone go to a burger king then demand a Veggie burger. That is like asking a ferrari dealership if you can test drive a diesel. Or going to a brotherl and asking for a cuddle. Or going to a McDonalds, and expecting chicken in the nuggets.

A franchise? That's a little unfair.

Worked fine in bath city centre, bb69 and bb75 given at the counter. Really straight forward, just said I had some codes, gave them the food in each deal followed by the code, under £6 spents fir two burgers, fries, drink and 9 nuggets. Thanks op.

I know it may not be relevant, but I have been using a photograph I downloaded of a 20% code for doing the survey for months, for the first time today an assistant said she wanted the number on the receipt from the meal it related to. Bloody jobsworth.

Also my personal tricks..

- if you use burgerkingdelivers.co.uk,. try codes HD1-HD99. You can get free burgers.
- Poor mans bacon cheeseburger, order a single cheeseburger, extra patty and bacon, minus all the toppings, way cheaper than the actual one!

deathspitter40k
31 Jan 17 #234
No restaurant is allowed to accept the codes unless you have legitimate coupons or show the codes on the app.

Only one code can be used per order for both coupons and app codes.

Some franchises don't take part in discount strategies because the costs go directly to the franchisee with no reimbursement from BK UK.

They hide the coupons and give them to once you have ordered. This is to encourage customers to visit again.

If someone came into our restaurant and tried to use just the codes or a printed out fakes I would deny them service.

Even valid coupons or codes don't have to be honoured as the franchisee is under no obligation to do so.
deathspitter40k
31 Jan 17 #233

It depends on if there are other burger joints in the vicinity. I had the same experience in Hemel Hampstead Burger King where the guy at sales counter would not give me a voucher even though I could see some lying on the floor outside the shop. This is because the nearby McDonald has closed and they are a virtual monopoly. I simply decided to not buy at all and bought a sandwich form Subway so they lost a sale though on a slightly lower profit.

They're not actually allowed to give them out in most stores, they're for vouchering on the streets with.
Also, they aren't reusable (policy is to take them off you when used).
However, this will vary from store to store.

I don't quite think you have a very firm concept of marketing promotions.
Companies give vouchers with orders to create repeat business. They don't want to offer you a discount when you were already there and willing to pay full price. That would just be ridiculous like describing discount vouchers as 'cheat codes'

I have seen quite a few times here a deal with Burger King even with picture with advertisement, when I go to the Burger King near me or the one I could reach reach easily, there is not such kind of deal and If you ask their staff do not know or pretend do not know it. I can not prove it either I can not show the advertisement as I could prove by pointing it As at last i bought t at full price to avoid embarrassment.

Those who have tried this, would you please elaborate,
- how did you tell them this code ?
- If they said the are not aware (or pretend not to) what did you do ?
- It is not see for every staffs to remember many codes. How could the staffs on the till remember this code. do they have a list of this code ea them to check it

TBH McDonald is very good in dealing with such kind of this like voucher, etc Most staffs (if all of them know) so you do not have the problem to prove it when you order

They are supposed to check that the flames are moving to check for screen shots. However 90% is the app offers do not require logging in on the app. So once you use an offer all you do is go into the app settings and clear the app data (Android. Probably doable on iPhone as well) and all the used offers come back. I have been doing this for 6 months getting the £1.99 bacon double cheese burger and fries over and over

Last week I was in McDonalds and had 4 of them £1.99 vouchers. I couldn't be bothered to tear them up so I was just gonna give her the whole thing as I placed my order. After I ask for a QP and fires for £1.99 I was about to hand her the voucher and she says I can keep it lol. I'm like WTF? She goes yeah it's fine dw about it. So few days later I'm in a diff McDs and I ask for a Big mac and fries and she tills it up full price and I asked her, with no voucher on me, can she charge me £2 and she did it.

McDs been running these "promos" for years, they're in the paper every single day, seems the staff are tired of taking them in and just run them up. McDs might as well just change the price to £1.99 standard. What's the point when you have the thing in the paper everyday?

Eddie: Hmm... Must've sprung up over night.
Lou: But you know, it's the little differences.
Chief Wiggum: Example.
Lou: Well, at a McDonald's you can get a Krusty Burger with cheese. But they don't call it a Krusty Burger with cheese.
Chief Wiggum: Get out. What do they call it?
Lou: A "Quarter Pounder" with cheese.
Chief Wiggum: "Quarter Pounder" with cheese? Well, I can see the cheese but? do they have Krusty's "Partially Gelatinated, Non-Dairy, Gum-Based Beverages"?
Lou: Yeah, they call them "shakes."

These codes should work everywhere apart from motorways & tube stations. Company always send them to their franchises. It's up to franchise owner to dicide weather to give it to customers or not. I wonder why would they give to customers to reduce their profit.

On the up side however, the Isle Of Wight is still the only place I have ever seen with a newsagent that sold imported Richie Rich comic books. I used to collect comics and was absolutely astonished to see them there (admittedly this was about 30 years ago). They also had others from the Harvey Comics range like Casper The Friendly Ghost. So you may go hungry, but at least you (may still) also have things there that we mainlanders can't get in the shops!

FYI not all stores will accept the vouchers, where as pretty much every store accepts the app.
You can redeem each voucher on the app twice (apart from some "locked" ones) - once logged in, and once logged out.

Or just screenshot the code, as it never changes and they dont check anyway!
Or just register multiple accounts using the email trick of using periods and plus signs in your email addr.

So burger king is supposed to have 'cheat codes' sheets lying on the counter that are available for customers to use?

I think people are questioning why you would ask for a voucher, because we've never heard of this before and want to be sure of what we are asking for. Simply asking for a voucher seems a bit random. It's good to know what their purpose is and how were we really supposed to come by them, if there's any follow up questions.

So I need to asked them if I can see the cheat sheet vouchers?

They make it pretty hard to even see the prices on the menu in our local!
RoosterNo1
25 Jan 17 2 #45
They are all franchised... its upto the manager if they accept any of these discounts... i had a crap meal (tbh, its all awful food) and complained to hq, who sent me a voucher and letter... still had a job getting a store to accept it - so got noisey until one did... wont spit in one now.

I agree that usually hide the vouchers at the sales desks. I once asked for the in app voucher deals but the branch refused saying they don't honour the app deals as the franchise didn't accept app deals! They then have us the vouchers they had hidden below the sales desks. None of the vouchers were kept anywhere in the franchise, all were hidden below the sales counter.
