Top Islay whisky but I've rarely seen it below £50. Far better than the 18 or the 12. Great present for a whisky lover who will think you really know what you are talkign about hahaha.
Amazon did a lightning deal at £42 a little while back and that was a bargain. There were 20/30 bottles left a while ago, but stock is going fast although they do say more expected in soon and they will let you order at this price for delivery when stock comes.
- Matured in an inspired combination of both bourbon and sherry casks.
- It's the final three years spent in Oloroso sherry casks that gives it the rich, deep colour reflected in its name.
- Delicious dark chocolate, sun-dried fruits and a tell-tale wisp of Islay smoke with wonderful cedar wood and rich treacle toffee.
- 2015 Gold Medal Winner - International Wine & Spirits Competition
- IWSC Awards Tasting Note: As gloriously intense as the name implies, with leather and spice doing battle for your attention on the nose, all prevented from overdoing it by the elegant sweetness.
Mine got shipped today, will arrive tomorrow. Great deal

Have to say I agree.
The 15yr is far superior to the 9yr though. The 9yr is like orange squash compared to the 15, which is orange juice

As per the posts up there, it's on temporarily out of stock - Amazon will still let you order at £39 and then charge you when they dispatch. They will definitely get more stock soon so the offer is still good to go.

They will get more in, if you order now, you lock in at this price and then they only charge you when dispatching. If like me, you aren't fussed waiting..

For others Amazon also have Aberlour A'Bunadh showing at £35 (although a bit of a wait on delivery)

Each to their own, I know quite a few whisky drinkers that prefer this to those.

Yep it was posted on here in 2013 but was an Amazon anomaly - only a couple of people got it at that price before it bounced up again. Wish I'd bought a few bottles at that price!
