Had this drill for a year now (£46 from Clearance Bargains) and it`s superb,,,,been used loads, put over 200 square metres of decking down, a LOT of sheds up, fencing up plus day to day use for loads of other stuff and the battery is still spot on

I'll wait while summer finds the deal shabs
Got this over Xmas for £50. Worst thing is that when it was advertised in their Xmas catalogue, it was advertised as having a 2.0ah battery, and it turned out it was a misprint, and only a 1.5ah battery (this exact drill).
I still went ahead and purchased it as I needed a drill asap.
I never really used it, just stuck it on charge and stuck 1 screw into a piece of wood to check it performance.
I'll have to go into my shed and check, hoping there's no scratches/marks on it, and return it, purchase this instead.

6 Jan 17#64
Nope, it's a 1.5AH battery and a 1.5A charger, the charge rate is therefore 1C, no problem for a lithium-ion battery.
What does limit their life though is the fact that it's not a balance charger.

Yeah I meant the one from this deal.
Amazon £32.49, as u say they need to be interchangeable. But they do make a deal about "Used in all tools in the Bosch Power4All, 18 V Lithium-ion cordless system". So if they r interchangeable u would be getting this drill (sort of minus bat) for £3.50.
But u need to check every detail yourself as I've just plucked that bat as a random Bosch bat.

Excuse my ignorance as I have never owned a drill before, but would this double down as a screwdriver?
I am almost sure it does, and if that's the case, would I need to buy the accessory pack (for using it as a screwdriver), or does it come with all the necessary parts?

oos everywhere when you check the stock levels online - altho the online ordering system happily lets you order it for collection in store. I reckon theres gonna be a lot of people disappointed when they get there and find it isnt stocked. You might be lucky but knowing b&q I doubt it.

Rubbish, this is a hangover from the NiCD days, lithium batteries are nowhere near as fragile. My Makita drill uses a battery twice the size of this one, and charges in 24 minutes. Been going strong for years on end.

Bosch Twin pack drills with 2 x 2.0ah battery's £67
IF C&C not working try this: I went in store, they had stock on the shelf, I went to the website on my mobile and applied the discount codes and selected C&C, it came up as unavailable, showed it to the customer service desk and told them they have stock, they checked and matched the price in store £36 on the basis that the price was being offered to me on the website but the website was incorrectly showing not available for Click & Collect.

Unless I'm confused about the day, as today is Thursday and Don picked it up 15 hours ago that would have been Wednesday, which explains the oldies discount working OK?

12 Jan 17#340
I think the £10 off £50 is still OK, but the 10% off email code has expired (and stopped stacking after the 1st day anyway so they must have fixed that glitch). There is also a £20 off £100 which I used on Tuesday. When I get home I'll see what happens with the discount card.
I will buy it for £40 anyway, but it went OOS and I've only just noticed that it's back in stock in my local store - or at least their website says it is, but that's no guarantee with B&Q...

To be fair to everybody, when I ordered it, the Diamond Card discount came up automatically so I didn't complain (about that anyway). I did push and shove and eventually arranged to collect the drill from a different store four days later. The staff at the Aintree store were fantastic and upheld the original price and I walked away very happy with my purchase.

£3 dearer here ... no codes needed ...may be some though to be found ?
That was maccy trying to do some DIY badly
for £39.60 was looking out for a decent price on a multi tool.
thanks
I still went ahead and purchased it as I needed a drill asap.
I never really used it, just stuck it on charge and stuck 1 screw into a piece of wood to check it performance.
I'll have to go into my shed and check, hoping there's no scratches/marks on it, and return it, purchase this instead.
IE for screwing would this drill be better or worse than this driver?
What does limit their life though is the fact that it's not a balance charger.
seems like a few members seem to be trigger happy with the expire deal button - as per OP stock is dependent on location
but why has it expired when t is still showing available ?
Ta chinchilla, voted hot.
I know its 1 bat, I highlighted that in post 7.
Anyone know if I can buy one and then buy again with the codes?
So that's two for £72.
delivered for £61.20
Amazon £32.49, as u say they need to be interchangeable. But they do make a deal about "Used in all tools in the Bosch Power4All, 18 V Lithium-ion cordless system". So if they r interchangeable u would be getting this drill (sort of minus bat) for £3.50.
But u need to check every detail yourself as I've just plucked that bat as a random Bosch bat.
great price for £61 delivered. thanks OP for headsup on the codes.
Ordered for collection from local store from 12pm tomorrow.
Edit: Just received text to say order is ready for collection now, even though online they were saying OOS at my local store.

It did not work for me on two local stores, but DID WORK on third one I tried.
Drills are like touches and watches... For some reason I keep on wanting them S (must be a man thing).
Depends on the tasks really... If you are needing to screw fasteners into a solid wall or masonry then an impact driver is the tool you need. Good ones will even beat hammer drills at drilling into masonry.
And my 2 local stores with it in stock, when you go to checkout tell you it cant be collected.
Not sure why
What car do you drive?...

Code pops up in bottom right corner, so keep an eye out when checking out.
