This has been going for over 3 years, Booths is a northern version of Waitrose, they copied Waitrose with this offer! Get a free cup every day just have your card scanned at till (think it only works on manned tills) and take cup to machines. Cappuccino etc available. Booths actually started out in Victorian era as a tea and coffee merchant!
I'd encourage you to learn more than one thing everyday.

Most coffee shops have a deal of free coffee. My local one gives you one free coffee, just use your contact less card and you get one free coffee. Noticed on my last card bill i was charged £2.50 admin fee. Still a great offer. Coffee is normally £2.50 saves me £2.50 every time i get a free coffee.

I'm currently in Booths cafe in Penrith reading this. Got my second free coffee of the day, as I've borrowed my other half's Booths card. If you're in the cafe and need something cheapish to buy to get a free drink, I recommend the delicious toffee and banana muffins.

Er, I think you'll find that Waitrose is the southern version of Booths not the other way round, seeing as Booths was opened 60 years before Waitrose. Booths were tea and coffee sellers back in the 1850's opening a cafe in one of it's stores before Waitrose even appeared on the high street. Northerners rule!

Ye, actually, Ive been to their Chorley store, come to think about it  but it was to do with my paying to park on their car park whilst I was in the Chorley Wetherspoons. Naughty! Lol

It's almost worth applying for a card for the extremely high quality paper used for the letter! Cards themselves are poor, numbers rub off easily!

shocking for a northern person, although Media City was their first GM store and only opened in about 2012/13. There is now Hale Barns too. Surprising really, sooo many in Lancashire, they should spread into GM more.
