I had a couple of Blus in the past. Both great value for money phones, sold by Amazon, only problem I had was their battery life but this one has a 3,700 mAh Monster battery so I think it won't be a problem.

Is spyware still a concern with Blu phones? Are others such as xiaomi clean of spyware, or is it just a chance you have to take when importing phones?

Haven't heard of any spyware on xiaomi phones. Some resellers put their own rom on xiaomi phones (which may contain all kind of junk) so if you buy one make sure you buy a phone with genuine global rom on it.

Samsung curved their screen
Blu curved the glass to try and trick people into thinking it is the same thing..

WARNING :. There were and are numerous reports this company pre installs malware and spyware on thier phones. Hence the reason for being very cheap!!!

Cheap, surely if you can find a custom ROM for this the spyware would go? Don't think any banking apps would work then though...

You can get away without a custom ROM if you would rather not that route, just need to do a dedicated update on one app from its makers site (and that's assuming it's an affected version!)

Maybe I had bad luck but I ordered two blue life mark (I think smaller version of this) phones from Amazon and both were faulty. Amazon did refund without hassle though.

wife has the Blu Life Mark - camera is average, battery life very average - but no complaints for the price. This max version with the bigger battery sounds great.
And the spyware issues have been resolved - old news. I would have no hesitation recommending the brand
On my 3rd Blu mobile, Mark at the moment, but battery life is poor but phone is great. So just ordered the Max using Amazon code 'BIGTHANKS' for extra £10 off, so well happy with the deal.

I have a zte as well. Eats the battery on the look out for new phone. Think all these companies offer great specs for the money but the battery don't seem to be good enough

I got the phone delivered today. It worked out for £69 due to student and Amazon credit card discount.
Pretty fast fingerprint scanner is ok and camera is good plus dual SIM and memory card.
