I was a little surprised that they actually fulfilled my order but now that I've already got some I'll share this.
I think that some overworked underpaid worker has fat-fingered this price because it's meant to be just one jar, probably an attempt to price-match Ocado's single jar price.

true. however, if we do not want an obese society, healthy and quality food should be more affordable . the government should work on providing more healthy food options at competitive prices instead of sugar tax as sweets are still cheap compared to fruits and veggies.

That was such a good deal... I missed it because I didnt want to spend £20 on Amazon :/ I'm a huge pb lover but the good quality natural nut butters are so expensive ! How can a student afford that? :/ I wish the good and healthy stuff were cheaper... You can get 4 donuts for 50p and the same you have to pay for an apple. Where's the logic? And they say that the govrnment want to fight with obesity..joke. Sorry for being pathetic here but I'm **** off cause I wanted to get this good deal!

The fruit isn't taxed, most sweets are (cake isn't because it's seen an an "essential item", not sure about doughnuts). It costs a lot more to make good quality natural products.
Hazelnuts likely cost more to grow and process than peanuts. Also, you pay a premium for things that aren't mass produced or sold on mass - as you don't have the same economies of scale.

Thanks for the info. I was looking for some hazelnut butter that I could safely feed to my pet orangutan.

Nor had I. The "normal" price is just a little out of my comfort-zone.
It's pretty nice stuff
