I agree, but if the pub's any good, it wouldn't need to do this sort of promo as people would flock there anyway - looks to be a decent enough area, so no shortage of potential customers.
One thing bothers me - do we really need to see even more drunken s*um staggering around the streets vomiting and picking fights with random targets ?
Until any government investigates why it is that we Brits (and a few other nations, mostly Northern European) act in such a way, promos like this should be banned. I've lived in a couple of other countries like Spain, where even cafes serve beer, and bits of Eastern Europe where alcohol is freely available and consumed in similarly vast quantities, but yet they do not get much violence at all. Go out in some big cities on a Friday or Saturday night and you would struggle to see any police..... as they are not needed for alcohol related incidents - makes you think.

They can afford to charge this as they have added 20p a pint to all the beers in their other 3 pubs in the area.. !!

trouble is usually in small towns. when I go out into the city I very rarely see fights.

I'm not sure I've ever saw anyone act like that after 1 pint. Anyhow, most of the people you see acting like that are usually the ones who can afford to drink and will do so anyway.

Have you been to South America or SE Asia?.....When the locals start fighting in bars and clubs they use guns and shoot each other.
How about India.....women been raped after leaving bars and clubs!
Think you'll find things here are not as bad as other countries.
