Heat added, sunk hundreds of hours into BF4, fantastic game and highly recommend getting premium. Some of the additional maps are awesome, especially in the Final Stand DLC.
Get the edition with Hardline for £2 more and don't worry, everyone is a noob at some point in something!
Don't debate about digital v disc on this bundle. You won't be selling Battlefield 4 once you've played it anyway

nothing. but you can sell disk after. go for premium as you get all the expansions. multiplayer is good and probably best single player battlefield I've played

The single player is extremely forgettable. BF1 is an enormous improvement.
Good multiplayer though. For the odd game here and there, it's a steal for a fiver.
I'm terrible though, have never been able to get the hang of the vehicles! Helicopters are great fun though, until you get shot down quickly which happens 9 times out of 10. That one other time though, a few minutes of unmolested flight time.... glorious. Even if I still only ever get a couple of kills lol

At various times in the past each bit of DLC was free but not anymore. Most BF4 DLC is reduced to £3.99 at the moment. I didn't spot when they were free, so I only have the last couple of maps and the Night Operations add on. :disappointed:

Thanks, seems cheap enough to give it a go then. I've never bought anything from the PlayStation Store before, so this will be interesting. Do I need to subscribe to the PS Plus thing, or is that totally separate?

Same question from me... Also, am I right in thinking that you can turn off the worst of the violence and bad language on this?

Like Buzz said, £7.99 with Hardline. I suspect people missed the earlier deal, as it's hard to argue that £5.79 for BF4 on its own is a better deal.
hardline is different out of the BF franchise. but it's still better the some other games

To buy from the Playstation Store does not require PS Plus, but to play games like this online on PS4 does require PS Plus. You also get free games each month with PS Plus and sometimes additional discounts in the store.

Anyone know the exact GB of space BF4 and every DLC takes?

I think it's about 70gb with the DLC.
But
Unlike what others have said, I wouldn't bother buying the Premium version. The original maps are still thriving and people are playing them. But the DLC maps are practically dead and hardly ever have a full squad in any game mode.
Personally I highly recommend buying BF4 but leave the DLC and save yourself 20gb in the process.

Yep. 71.73GB to be exact.
Heat added, btw.
Let me jump on and check the DLC map population quickly. The DLC maps are some of the best the game (love Propaganda for example) but don't know how active they are at the moment.
There are about 6 full servers playing the DLC maps - 3 of those feature Metro in some form (higher tickets, hardcore etc). I only checked conquest (small and large).
So yeah, I don't think you'd be missing much if you didn't bother with the DLC maps at this point.

I bought it but cannot play multiplayer as it keeps asking to download modules. Some free but some are 3.99 each. Am I missing something? Is this single player only?

no its multiplayer! maybe you are trying to play a map which is an add on to the game

So i bought bf4 for 5.79. My question is, is hardline part of the campaign or just extra multiplayer maps etc? And can i add it without the additional 7.99 spend??
Many thanks

hardline is a separate game! If you want to play hardline you should have gone for the bundle BF 4 and Hardline.

Bought Hardline before Christmas and I've enjoyed it so far. Is it worth investing in BF4?
