Not a bad deal but I would change the price to £399 as quidco is not guaranteed.

£419 at Tesco and Argos so a £30 discount after Quidco rather than the £230 you imply.

Got this tv a while a go and very pleased with it - decent picture and works well for gaming (PS3) with no noticeable lag in 'Game' setting. Only thing that I have seen is a bit of clouding whwn the backlight ia turned up, though only an issue when watching dark scenes in a dark room. Worth a punt if you're in the market for a 4K tv. Heat. :man:

lol 3k tv branded as 4k tv. And LG get away with it.

Note that it's marketed as UHD 4K rather than 4K - confusing yes but it does denote a difference between production and consumer standards.
Also, every other manufacturer does the same with their 2160P panels so no need for the LG bashing.
Back on track, it's a decent TV for the money!

OK. In that case I think you will find the performance of the TVs very similar seeing as they are the same TV.

2880x2160 vs 3840x2160.
I was looking at a 43" 4k LG to replace the 37" Sharp 1080p one my parents have.
Cant go any bigger as it wont fit where the current TV sits.
But after reading quite a bit about LG's "4k RGBW panels" and the fact that they don't even tell you which models have the inferior RGBW panels tells me to avoid avoid avoid.
Would rather get a Sony or Samsung, knowing that it will be true RGB 4k.

I got this TV for £550 last August. It's a good TV but as another user said, it does suffer from a lot of clouding from the backlight. Most notably at the bottom of the screen during dark scenes.
