I think so, seen similar going for £5 on Clearance but don't think you will find cheaper than £9. The £18 is a bit overpriced though.

It's supplementary rather than for new builds. The builder will put stuff in your loft in new builds.

Has anybody tried using any promotional codes with this?

I think 100mm is generally intended for between the joists which are generally 100mm high. 170mm-200mm is generally used as supplementary insulation to top up the 100mm to the recommended minimum of 270mm.

I think you're overthinking it. It's 100mm, it's top up insulation. Recommendations change and people top up.

Can you put it in 2 or 3 layers? I had some removed after ceiling repair and not replaced

Yes, just put it at 90 degrees to the one below it for better efficiency.

Yeah thats right. As you lay the initial 100mm in the joists then crosslay the 170mm (to make the recommended minimum 270mm) or use the 200mm to make upto 300mm.

picked up 4 this morning. was advertised at the door but said 18 on shelf still. bit of a ball achr as they dont have trolleys suitable to carry 4 or more. ended up with a normal trolley and a balancing act.

They aren't too big. I balanced 8 on a trolley!! Real men don't take 2 trips :D. Was able to fit all 8 in the car with the back seats down.

Not bothered about fitting them on a trolley mate, more fitting them in the car. Don't wanna get pulled over by PC plod on the way home or even spill them all over the road LMFAO.

Right, just ordered 10 rolls. Cheers OP. BTW for anyone else still to order - don't forget to use the 10% off discount code. It didn't work for me to start with - presumably because these are already on offer - but adding a full priced item (a 57p door knob in my case) made the code work and saved me £8.50 off after deducting the door knob cost.
Oh and 1.1% TopCashback - every little helps

i think i would have got 6 in my car comfortably without measuring to find out which was best way to put them in.

I was just in store this evening to collect my order from Monday, they had loads of rolls at the entrance but the price was up to £15 when you buy a certain quantity, I think it was 2 or more, so reckon it is £18 for one again now.
Opening post
Just got some instore
