Would you have known about it if the OP hadn't posted the deal? I probably wouldn't and I'm getting this, so jump off the high horse before you get altitude sickness :stuck_out_tongue:

Not sure what else there was.

same style of stamps in Pink Floyd theme were issued by Royal Mail in July 2016. There was also a commemorative limited edition item which took a while to be all sold out on the RM website.
David Bowie ones are nice but selling five 1st class stamps in fan sheet format for £7.50, it's a bit steep - 4 different fan sheets added together for £35.45 PLUS £1.45 p&p.

Royal Mail have upped their game since they've become privatised but if you're looking for an investment they will not hold much value, especially the first day covers as they will be unusable

Heard about these on the radio this morning. Get in to the office, have a mooch on here, and see this post. £94.24 later its time for a coffee and put the headphones on for some Bowie.
First time I have ever bought anything commemorative from the royal mail. Real nice items, especially the framed print.

same here about the £1.45 P&P, i have £16.79 worth of order in the basket and i am charged £1.45 for P&P. i have been buying stamps from the royal mail website for years, they charged me P&P every single order regardless whether i spent few quid or over £100.

Hi,
From past experience I think if you buy an item where the stamps have been franked (first day covers, souvenir covers) then the postage is free (on the basis the stamps are used) but if you buy anything mint you have to pay postage on top (as in theory you could use these stamps to send a letter)

The £79.99 print will be a good return in future.
Would need to buy them all to make a good enough profit to retire on though :man:

Many thanks. Looking at previous ones issued for the Beatles and Pink Floyd, the investment value doesn't look that great, so maybe one to buy just for personal use / enjoyment.

My mistake Neo, I was just going off the 'our delivery charges explained' thing and there is no mention of free delivery
'The delivery charge for a ‘personal’ order is determined by its weight and size.'

The Aladdin Sane print & stamp at £79.99 will have to be on my wall soon........
Worth clicking a couple of the "pre-order now" buttons as there are a few other items displayed at the bottom of the page that are not mentioned on the first page. The Stamp Art Souvenir Folder for £29.99 looks great as well.
