price looks very good as the normal version already costs 12.98 GBP.

think that may have had something to do with it as well
it was your first 'real' AC game, was my first and favourite too but i dont think revelations or 2 were much worse really

Nope, played 1 hated it, missed 2, decided to buy brotherhood as I liked the trailer, went back and bought 2, played revelations and hated it, thought 3 was boring, missed black flag, hated unity, bought syndicate and havent played it.

- and stop right there. Assassin's Creed 2 is the first game featuring Ezio - this, Brotherhood, is the third fully-fledged game, and is separate from AC2 in terms of DLC etc. After Brotherhood they released Revelations, the fourth game in the (main) series, and then later released Assassin's Creed 3, because Ubisoft. Confused yet?
Does that help?

The Da Vinci disappearance DLC is alright if you like the side quest aspects. I guess this game comes with that at least on disc/download code. See how much the DLC is on the PSN store and if less than this offer, just download it.
From memory (about 5 years since I played this game!) there's about 2 hours playtime looking for Leonardo. Some ok puzzles and jumping bits, if that's the aspect of the game you like (I do!

So in other words even though I already own a version of Brotherhood I shouldn't bother with this special edition then?

Guys could you please help me? I just completed the 2nd game and realised I didn't have the GOTY edition so missed out on the DLC. Do I need this edition of Brotherhood?

Assassin's Creed DLC has always been unnecessary imo, they never really add anything amazing to the games, especially anything that adds to the story of Assassin's Creed. Screw Ubisoft for Freedom Cry for Black Flag, that DLC was abysmal, reviewers gave it good marks but I suspect bribery
