Not seen this series (only the films!) but seems like a good price

Loved this series. You probably have to know a bit about the Evil Dead to stop you thinking that Ash is just a total ball sack, but, well, he is a total ball sack, but that's not the point. If you love Bruce Campbell and Sam Raimi then you'll suck on both barrels of this worthy 'member' of the series.

I've been prompted by my own post to order the multi-region blu-ray version of this season from amazon.com.
It's available for £18.80 delivered to UK if you take out the optional free amazon.com prime 30 day trial.

You could probably get it around £6 on ebay. Just guessing, but that's what I did some months ago. Brilliant series. Like a sequel to the films to be honest. It's that good. Comedy and genuine scares in equal measure. Great soundtrack too.

Superb programme (both seasons)...a brilliant extension of the Evil Dead movies.

Yeah its a damn shame! all the USA versions are region locked aswell so i don't think they will work with most UK Blu Ray players

got two more episodes of the 2nd series to watch, one of favs, just so over the top but funny as hell. Best fight so far has to be with the dead body in the morgue and fighting with its intestines

Loved the Lee Majors Six Million Dollar Man gag.
All of the characters are just so good and the quality of the special effects are superb too. It's the most gruesome and hilarious program on TV.

Not for everyone, but I'm a big fan of the show and it's definitely worth giving a chance if you haven't seen it yet.

It's a shame it's only on virgin media; and dvds don't seem to come out until a while after. As i'm not in a virgin media area there's no legal way to watch it without waiting for a dvd.
Was thinking of buying this but then would either have to download or wait for season 2.

Good price . I'm a virgin subscriber and even I don't get to watch the tv show on their cable package as I'm only on the medium sized package as I don't think the extra cost justifies the extra channels which consists of mostly plus one channels and several reality shows so I assume you can only watch it if you pay for their full package.
The show is fantastic and genuinely laugh out loud funny and I mentioned to someone the other day it's just as gory as Game of thrones and they gave me 'what are you smoking' look but I think because the violence is so silly it doesn't seem as gory as people think but there's rivers of blood used in the show.
They are great companion pieces to the movies.

When I heard it was coming I was prepared to be disappointed.....nope. Fantastic show. Series 2 is also excellent. I'm hoping for bluray double pack at some point. is it my imagination but does lucy lawless simply not age?

I also recommend listening to the audio version which is narrated by Bruce himself. It's brilliant.
