Ordered a bookcase from this range and agree with the poster above that the colour is not like the picture and more like an ash. Pretty cheap looking actually so it went back. Not sure what has happened to Schreiber stuff, I bought quite a bit from Homebase 3 or 4 years ago and it was much better, with much greater use of solid wood

The schreiber stuff from Argos is terrible! All falls apart and it comes ready made!

I have bought this last time when homebase had a sale. I paid £125 then . Colour looks oak but when delivered it is like white ash. Returned it. Otherwise it looked very solid and heavy.
