I bought one at Xmas for £35 and a great speaker. No complaints for the price and easy to use. Battery life is huge and simple to connect. If anyone says it's not a BOSE

1. Audio quality isn't there. It's not really even better than a cheap £15 speaker. The only difference is it has more bass, but the bass is poor.
2. Awful 'startup' noise which you can't turn off. Silly noise on Bluetooth connect also.
3. I love lots of bass. This has it BUT it's, well, off. I've never experienced this in a speaker before. The bass is strong but bad.
4. It has gel buttons on the top, these will give and die after a lot of use.
5. Volume range is poor. Basically, quiet, louder, very loud. Expected more range. Useless for quiet music.
6. Mine had static noise. Very obvious at low volume. It may have been faulty and specific to my device.

*You're.
We're all different. I just don't think this is good value especially compared to an Aether Cone, which I bought at the same time as the Anker. 300% better IMO.

Cracking kit ... I just love it.
I do hate the startup/shutdown noise - but really this is good.

Oh wow ... my experience with this was fairly different. The way I see it, if you don't have the money for a Bose or the Sony SRS XB series ... Anker is the next best thing that delivers a good bang for the buck!
I thought mine performed well both in the high and in the low frequency ranges. For the size of the speakers, it surprises how much it fills in a good-sized living room.
I really wish Anker would rethink their startup/shutdown sounds though - that is a real strike against the system.

How much did you pay for your Aether Cone and which model did you pick up? I would like to evaluate it.
