Well i've had both, and I thought the Fire Stick ran like a dog, so i sold it and replaced it with a Roku 2, which is much, much better (no, I don't use Kodi). Still use the Fire TV box for my main TV, and it find it pretty reliable.

Apart from the cost, what's the differnce between the stick & the TV?
There is very little point in 4K in my opinion without HDR - which makes the Amazon Fire TV 4K a rather flawed product.
I have one, purely due to needing a second and getting a discount when it launched (When i didnt have a 4K TV)... Soon as i got my KS7000, i no longer use the 2nd Amazon Fire TV 4K. Use the native Samsung apps so i can get HDR.
Get this if you want more processor grunt generally - not for 4K tho.

I have both and both great, use Kodi. But the tv box is so much quicker, no lag at all when scrolling thru menus and better for playing the simple games. Also with box not relying solely on Wi-Fi, as with the stick noticed with box cabled never ever buffers whereas stick did, but if only on small budget stick is great for less than £35. Although I can't complain as I got the box for £60 used off eBay, don't use 4k a no 4k tv.... Yet

Still confuse, got Samsung 4k TV and want 4k contents for free.
So does this give u 4k content on Kodi Or u can get that on the firestick too?

if you have a Samsung TV then you should have the prime app, gives you the 4k hdr content. not for free tho.
if you want a decent 4k kodi box then look into the xiaomi mi box. bit cheaper and runs better.
I have all 3 and hardly use the Amazon TV box since Samsung released the prime app. kodi runs fine on the stick and TV manages to upscale most things.

Depends what build you put on Kodi, I personally think paradox if the best, there are add-ons that have 4k content, not tried tho as no 4k tv
