Don't go anywhere near this item. I have a Philips air-fryer and it's brilliant. My parents bought this and it's absolutely useless. Took 1 hour and a half to cook chips properly. Tried a few times but doesn't circulate the air properly so food doesn't cook right. That's why it's cheap because it's appalling. Get a tefal or Philips.

I got a Halo and it cooks thick chips made with raw potato in 30 mins, thick ones that have been boiled in 20 and frozen chips in 15 minutes

This is obviously very cheap for a reason. I got the Phillips back on the last black Friday deal and paid £49 I've used it several times a week since and it's brilliant.

£30 in wilkos cardiff , still a bargain at that price tbh, our philips one died after 4 years and that model is now £220 (paid £100 originally)!!!!!!!!!!

These are very good, you must be doing something wrong if it takes more than 30 mins. Try plugging it in, you do need electricity as well as air.

I have returned this fryer as the chips tasted horrible. They were not cooked evenly and it took very long time. I will stick with my oven.

I don't know how they get away with calling them air 'fryer', its a false description, you cant fry with air, thats called convection. These are essentially a convection oven in the shape of a deep fat fryer! whoever thought up this gimmick is a genius! :stuck_out_tongue:

Got the AirFryer from Amazon last summer and use it oads. Definitely got my money worth out of it. Just a shame it's limited capacity.
I think the AirFryer is 0.8kg or 2.2litres

None left i have phoned around and no one has them at that price only £30 ones and Skelmersdale said theirs have all gone
