very cheap but its a shame its a steel frame
i bought an apollo transfer steel and when i change it for a trek aluminium there was a huge difference
still hot though for £70

Usually a steel frame will give a smoother ride than alu as steel absorbs shocks better..... but it has to be decent steel, not cheapass Chinese monkey metal steel.
But you cant expect much for £70.

i just like the lightweight components of aluminium
but steel is good but you have to get a good brand

Unfortunately it includes a pointless and poor front suspension to add weight with no benefit!

There's a version with rigid forks, but despite claiming to be an aluminium frame it appears to weight 17kg!
Just bought one, says alloy and another person who bought it and reviewed it said it was 1kg heavier.
Still great value for money to go on bike rides with grandson in the summer with his bike we bought from Tesco :wink:

Frames dont take as much up of the total weight as you would think.
Its the rest of the heavy cheap components they throw on it.
My mtb frame is 1.2Kg but the bike still weighs 9.6kg overall.
