Great offer but Boots are so overpriced to start with. Not voting either way on this but the odd bargain may be had although I can't be as.ed to look as Boots are the equivelent of W.H. Smith, overpriced to start with. Nothing personal.

My local had a lot of gift sets left last week, grabbed one luna rossa sport for £24 and there were still loads so might pop back on Wednesday to see if it dropped even more.

I got one of their £40 Match your Mood beauty boxes today for 30p!!! Couple of bits missing but the majority intact. Also Orla Kiely tins with body mist for £1. Lots of clearance stuff!! Leicester.

I wouldn't ask them if I was you - if you tell, they without doubt take it to a warehouse or keep it to themselves to buy it at a reduced price.

Done it plenty of times when I have known prices have dropped. Last time I returned a perfume set hubby bought for my Christmas £98! It was down to £46 a few days after Christmas. I took it in and said 'oh It's not the one I wanted..' assistant said 'its down to £46 now' ' OK do the refund then I will buy it back!' and they did and I got the set plus the £52 back onto card. The girl says they do it all the time with reduced items, particularly after Christmas!

To be honest she is lucky to be still employed if she is putting that through the till a lot. Their systems flag transactions like that up.

There are no plans as of yet. They will usually sell them through at up to half price.

I am sure last year they had celebrity fragrance sets at 70% off? May be they will reduce them later?

The 90% sale is usually 2 weeks after the 70% so i would say its more likely to start on Friday not Wednesday but i could be wrong

And the sale usually starts on Wednesday, so this year isn't usual

90% off for me. only the Jack Will stamp ser and the large makeup packs that were £40 in stores near me. a few missguided pouch with lipgloss but nothin else to speak of.

Got 2 large 17 sets, 2 smaller palettes, an aromatic home microwave doll, a small costa set and a small soap set for £15 from the Lincoln store

lots of zoella stationary. essie nail varnish sets, cuddly minie and olaf, mugs of some kind, candles, a makeup set ( seventeen weekend i think) and few other bits were in our store today. didnt see any perfume ones in ours and not going to our big one to see if anything is left. but got lots of the zoella bits for dd3's friends bday gifts this year!

Picked up a lonely looking Zoella Seaside Stroll Diffuser for £1.20 in Brighton. Surprised it hadn't gone already at that price. Apart from that just Yankee Tealight holders and Christmas Cards left.

I think that means they have done better ordering the right amounts this year. I think they aim to have as little as possible left for the sale.

Absolutely tonnes of stuff in Meadowhall this morning! They were bringing big 4ft crates full of more stuff too! No7, Jack Wills, Ted Baker, tonnes of candles and all sorts of bits n pieces too - spent over £100 so would have cost me £1000 at retail prices!

Ilford had a massive mix of both xmas and non xmas stuff with big reductions... none of the usual 3 for 2 gifts though unusually. Managed to get three xmas Elizabeth Arden sets from £60 to £5, also Nuxe body oil from £18 to £2. Nearly didn't go in, so worth taking a look!

dos anyone been told in Boots that allowed only 6 items per person from 90% sale? yesterday I been at the Harrow Boots and been told that they can sell me only 6 items from 90 % sale.

Yes I was told 6 per person. But we have 4 different checkout areas so this means 24 of each item! :wink: hahaha

Returned my items and re bought, nothing wrong with that not being greedy but within 28 days so why not!

don't do that. It is only to get rid of whatever is left at every store and its certainly not much to put it back in teh online warehouse - will cost too much to them.

Do they allowed you return 50% or 70% items and you bought again with 90% ? Some shops have policy that if over 60% or 70% you can't return it. I thought that Boots is also same so no returnable sale items...

I tried today in a Bradford branch and they rudely said no we don't allow it when it was already at 70%. But great for those who can do it. Some staff nowadays are really rude.
