she scanned something for 5p instead my guess lol we can only do 25% 50% and 75%.

by the way this offer is now gone and all stores should have cleared theirs already to replace it with the gardening stock you won't want to use in the cold!

well they did something in my local, because some of the items were still scanning as £1 but then she corrected the price to 5p!

Some frozen, Spiderman and star wars stock has been reduced to 5p. Remaining is currently still 25p.

Then usual Christmas rubbish that wasn't new stock xmas '16 has mostly been reduced. It's a bit hit and miss. Not sure if IT have messed up communication could have been better.

5p in Horsham today. Loads left & some really nice wooden bits, light up baubles, glass baubles, wooden advent calendars & countdown cubes, worth a look if you're going

been to my local and the christmas stock is reduced to 5p, but overheard the staff saying some of the stock were scanning at £1 which they have to override to 5p- i picked up a few frozen items for birthday gifts that are coming up this year, and also gift bags. they still had more boxes that they had to stack the shelfs with.

My local was stickered up in the window and on the isle at 5p. Everything for 5p, no mention of anything at 25p at all. Tonnes and tonnes of packs of cards, baubles, tinsel, stockings, mini trees, led lights, photo albums, gift bags, toys, glasses and crackers left. I filled 2 trollies for £10 and didn't make a dent in the amount of stock available! Thanks for the heads up, im sorted for the next 5 years! Hah

Thank you for sharing. I had some lovely bargains on lots of Frozen stuff, christmas tags & decorations, & some toiletry giftware. Most @ 5p but staff very helpful & willing to alert me to anything that scanned at 25p so that I could decide if I still wanted it. Bought loads but will share the booty with friends & family. just picked up lots for 5p at a didferent local store. great bargains for glass baubles. all frozen and star wars are 5p too. 10 tags for 5p too.

Picked up an xmas stocking at Poundland Cannock for 5p this morning!

I've just spoken to staff in store and they informed me only certain items will be 5p, not everything, they said most of the character (frozen, spiderman, star wars etc) is going down in price...

Been in today to buy Disney branded and scanning at 25p still. Could be store specific.

just been to my local lady said no disney stuff is being reducd , the only things for 5p is the tat that has been for ages apparently. probs telling a lie because a previous comment the lady works there said disney is going on 5p sale. confused.com

ok, I work for Poundland so I'll clear this up.

everything still scanning for 25p today is being cleared, palletized off sale.

everything scanning for 5p today is staying out UNTIL TUESDAY

confectionary is NOT on the deal.

POS can only go out tonight/tomorrow morning

best part of the deals is the Disney branded stuff which a lot of it has gone down to 5p

cheap tat reduced even cheaper.

The last few years they have reduced the Christmas confectionery to 25p. This year they are being very tight-fisted with it. :disappointed::smile:

Manchester Arndale store still had a LOAD of Christmas stuff in on Friday if it helps anyone. I daren't buy anymore as I filled my boots at 25p.

Sadly at even 5p, Poundland are probably still making a profit on some of the Christmas tat they've been flogging this year.

I was told this by staff yesterday but was waiting to see before i reported it, the staff member ctually said to me wait till Moday everything going to 5p IF it has not got a green mark by the b/code

Maybe because being a single mum with 2 daughters i shop in poundland daily and have been for around 4 years. my local staff are great. Other stores need upping their customer serviceZ

I want to apologise, i just popped into my local poundland, to get the 2 for £1 crumpets and spoke to staff, she let me take a picture of the communication. It goes live monday. It may go through the tills tomorrow but cant be confirmed. All poundland stores are holding the event and posters will be dispayed on the windows.

You seem to know a lot about what is or is not included and whether it's store specific for just seeing some information on a trolley with staff around :confused:

Nothing is short dated.
The food items are all 50p and staying at 50p.
All the 5p lines are christmas tree decorations, santa hats, stockings etc

I think so, I got chocolate coins at 25 p with a 2018 sell by date although they tried to say it was a pound they put it through at 25 p. Lots of dog items 2018 sell by date so assume they will be 5p annoyed as I spent £1.50 lol

Assume short sell by date must be food stuff. They still had a few Christmas puddings in the other day which would be past their best before date by December, but they weren't in the 25p sale though.

I can confirm this too as the manager in the romford brewery branch informed me once I had bought a lot at 25p!!! He said it's from Sunday but not all Christmas stock apparently the old stuff and bits with a short sell by date x

They'll be paying us to take the Christmas stock away at this rate

Not all the Christmas stock in the 25p sale goes through the till at 25p. Several items I purchased went through at 50p each.

Why would you check when they joined though?

The staff were re-merchandising the christmas section, i seen the pos plans on the stock trolley and the starting from date along with all the pos signage. I was with my daughters. I did try taking a picture of the store plans but staff took them off trolley.

I heard them say all pos needs to be put out when store closes tonight ready for trade tomorrow.
