Hey, was looking at storage solutions for a while as starting to re-decorate parts of the house and spotted the Groupon offer where for £9 (see deal link) you get £50 to spend on Storage at BYS (Big Yellow Storage)
BYS currently have a 50% off storage for new customers up to 8 weeks which STACKS with the Groupon offer
Example - I've done a quick check at a random store at BYS (Milton K) for an 8 week quote - 10ft storage starts from as little as £5.70 PW so total for 8 weeks = £45.60 - the £50 voucher, will deduct it to zero + £9 voucher & you pay 1 week storage deposit which is £5.70 on above = Total payable is £14.70 for the entire 8 week period - Prices may differ at each location
Cheaper options aval on BYS - just depends on what your needs are.
The terms even state the voucher stacks with 50% and i've also confirmed with Groupon that is the case - Note you pay nothing upfront until you enter the store (bar the voucher) so can see all costs upfront and what'll be payable.
Trying to find the box i need from storage...

Or see you if you can add endorsement to your existing home insurance to cover your goods in storage. eSure did this for me for no cost and the storage company took a copy of the letter.
I work in self storage, 50% off first 8 weeks is a standard offering which most companies use as a tempter knowing that 20-30% of people get lazy and leave stuff in storage for waaaaayyyy too long. This is a good deal though with the group on too, just don't fall into the trap of being lazy.

Thanks OP. Presumably you could use the £50 Groupon voucher to cover any axillary costs such as insurance as well?

Sorry, just in case anyone else is wondering, I called and checked, and the Groupon only covers the rental costs. They can still rinse you for the rest (padlock, insurance etc!)

Was looking for something like this - just got a quote, you also have to factor in the insurance fee (starts at £3.25 a week). A good deal though - heat added!

£3.25 for insurance, is very expensive but that's how they get you.

Can you use more than one vochur? And is there a time limit to use it?
I will be using one at the end of March for 3 months and will cost around £80
