Hi all,
Thanks for your interest in this offer (I can't wait to get to the shop for the last Freddo I'll probably ever purchase)
You can purchase 5 Freddos on one receipt and your cashback will be processed within the usual 14 days we allow for Clicksnap. Enjoy!
Kind Regards,

I bought 5 and claimed for 1 and it tracked 26p as well.
I resubmitted the same receipt and claimed for 4 more and it tracked again so that's worth trying
Perhaps a silly question. I redeemed on Sunday for an offer that ended 15 Jan. Now it's showing as 13-20 Jan: Is this a new offer, so I can redeem again? Or is it the same offer but with an extended end date, so I wouldn't get reimbursed if I tried again?

Actually the clicksnap app is STILL showing as 5x but one redemption! I'd use that angle to get them to fix 1x to 5x redemptions via chat.
Brown_Rolf
17 Jan 17#108
Yep, exactly the same has happened to me. As mk-donald says two posts above, the redemption format was misleading because it was different to their usual format - the item descriptor said "5 Free Freddos" when it should have said "Free Freddo" and said "5 redemptions remaining" in the other box. Hence I fell into the trap of leaving the quantity set to 1, as 1 x 5 = 5.
I'm getting seriously fed up with Quidco, it's just one problem after another recently, with the outcome always going in their favour.
mk-donald
17 Jan 171#107
Even my Sainsburys Local had them - in a section with lots of sweets/choc bars etc, in a box. Did however need a member of staff to find them as hadn't ever noticed that bit of shelving before lol.

Seems to be a bit of confusion with this offer. To try to help clarify things:
1. The offer is from "Quidco's ClickSnap" (QCS) ie you should find it on either the website at (when you log in to your Quidco account): https://www.quidco.com/clicksnap/offers/all/
or the Quidco ClickSnap App [though realise the App never used to update if you have already made any redemptions - eg in this instance would always show 5 redemptions left EVEN if you have already claimed any!]
2. The purchase deadline was originally meant to have ended Mon 16/1, but CURRENTLY is showing as ending Fri 20/1
HOWEVER they MAY end the offer early (per T&Cs) so it's ALWAYS advisable on the DAY that you intend to make your purchase to check the offer is still showing as available to claim - ie start the claim routine for the retailer/date you plan to purchase and check it's an available claim [but obviously cancel out the claim as you don't yet have the receipt]. You will then have up to a week to get your receipt photographed/scanned and submitted - ie even if the offer vanishes from "current offers" on site/App, it should appear when you submit your receipt for the date you purchased.
3. The offer was originally published in a very confusing format ie the text said about "5 x " and that could claim on up to 5 bars BUT they wrongly set the system to just ONE redemption ie assumed to be for up to 5 bars on that one receipt. HOWEVER that's now fixed - ie certainly by today the website allowed for the normal approach with you inputting how many bars/claims your receipt is for ie between 1-5 bars/claims (of your remaining 5 total claims).
4. The reward is at the rate of 26p/bar and NOT necessarily "Free". Though I bought at 25p so made 1p profit per bar. If your bar(s) cost more then 26p and they pay you back only 26p then as a time rich person you could hassle them to stand by the FREE description/headline as the "Free" is NOT qualified in any way, and then take a complaint to the ASA about their website being deceptive/untruthful!
5. Realise that Quidco's ClickSnap is CONNECTED to CheckoutSmart (CoS) and they'll only accept ONE submission of a receipt (even for different offers) ie the first time/offer(s) it's submitted for - ie if intending to make claims with both QCS and CoS split your basket at the till and get two receipts. Similarly if multiple family/household members with Quidco accounts are going to claim 5 bars each, then each account/claim will need a separate receipt!
6. Yep from tasting, it's amazing that there is a market for people using their own money to pay for these Freddos!

That's the 'new' Cadbury's for you! I won't be buying any more Cadbury's chocs.
Just finished a tub of Rose's - some were not wrapped - ok, last year I found one in a Quality Street tub like that so complained (well, you have to today don't you. Everyone gets offended at something so I was offended at a choc with no wrap.
Got a 2 quid voucher from Nestle, so good on them! :innocent:
Now just try complaining to Cadbury's. :disappointed:
Christ, it's like trying to get through Fort Knox. I won't give up though. I'm after a voucher!! :stuck_out_tongue:
Now here's something for the hotdeal nuts who like to know everything. Ask who now owns Cadbury's and most will say American Kraft Foods (I would!). Nope. Well, it is still Kraft, but they are no longer called that - now wholly owned by Mondelez International (originally Kraft Foods). It is the second-largest confectionery brand in the world after Wrigley's.
Well, they've just had the last of my money. They can sod off!
Quality Street, Celebrations (and I hate them!) anything, even Aldi chocolate from now on ...ANYTHING but Cadbury's! :stuck_out_tongue:
Oh, I should have added, just in case you think the good old Toblerone which recently got a reduction in its size is still a good old Swiss owned chocolate bar you'd be very wrong!
US confectionery company Mondelēz International, Inc., formerly Kraft Foods - them again - own it!

Admittedly the photo was taken on an iphone 4 so perhaps not the quality of a modern phone, but it wasn't bad, and no I wasn't going to try and find the receipt again and taken another batch of photos with an eos all for the sake of 20p.

Quidco ClickSnap rejected my claim for the free Bisto gravy, Paxo stuffing and Colman's Apple Sauce. They said I'd already claimed them on the same receipt from CheckoutSmart.

These Freddos are 18g each, so five of them would give you 90g of Dairy Milk chocolate.
When you compare it to pick 'n' mix prices for 100g, £1 seems a decent price for 90g of Dairy Milk chocolate.

I paid £1 for 5 of these freddo's and feel robbed of a quid, good job it's cashback when they pay back. How on earth can they justify upping the price of these miniature chocolates to 30p, outrageous, it's 18g bar, I suppose the same can be said for a fudge, chomp and curly wurly. Although a curly wurly looks bigger, only because they're holes throughout the whole bar and inside the wrapper to give the impression it's a standard sized bar

I'm wondering if you can effectively receive £1.50 plus 25 free Freddo's when purchasing them from Asda. Submit a receipt with 5 Freddo's on it and you should get 30p extra cashback as five Freddo's cost £1 at Asda and the cashback is 26p per Freddo. You will still have four redemptions remaining where you can do similar. Not sure if my interpretation is accurate but may be worth a go.

Asda thing works well - buy 5 for £1, but get cashback at 26p times 5
Won`t let me submit claim either "Unfortunately, as advised on their page on our site, Clicksnap doesn`t accept cashback claims, so we`re unable to find out why your cashback amount was incorrect on this occasion."

1. That was completely untrue.
2. It would have been impossible, as those products were never offered on CheckoutSmart!
Anyway, we're moving to a cashless society
And this is a money-saving forum!
When you compare it to pick 'n' mix prices for 100g, £1 seems a decent price for 90g of Dairy Milk chocolate.
They were just ported over from Shopitize so that TCB had 1/2 of them and Shopitize the other 1/2.
Is wok I did.
There is a cap of 20000 free bars on this offer. So if everyone buys five, you will lose out if they have had just 4000 takers. And in lots of households, a claim is made for every member. Including the cat :innocent:

or it may be because they have reached their limit....
or it may be because they have reached their limit....
Then uploading the five receipts on quidco cllicksnap will give you another 1p cashback on each receipt
So chance here for 5 free choc bars and 30p free money
There are 3 of us in our household so we got 15 for a profit of 90p (with TCB cashback still to come on top of that)
Most Clicksnap deals track within 24 hours and get paid (into your Quidco account) within days)
I can remember when a packet of polo's was 12p, a packet of chewitt's was 10p, cola frosties (lots of sugar) were 10p in vending machines, and a 10p bag of space raiders weighed about 30g and not 6g or whatever it is now.
I also remember when a bowl of custard was 2p (yellow, choc or strawberry!) and chips were 12p, at the school canteen.
Broken Britain.
I'm rightly outraged.
Although, to be fair I don't think I've ever bought a Freddo as an adult.
And claim from TCB too for anywhere between 20p and 30p extra (I don't know which price TCB will pay out)
Thanks for your interest in this offer (I can't wait to get to the shop for the last Freddo I'll probably ever purchase)
You can purchase 5 Freddos on one receipt and your cashback will be processed within the usual 14 days we allow for Clicksnap. Enjoy!
Kind Regards,
Jack
