2 litre deep fat fryer at Asda with good reviews now reduced to £12. Seems like a good deal. Available online to collect in store for this price. Also available in store but stock is limited.

If your chips turn out soaked and oily from a fryer then you aren't cooking them right.
I have fried chips a couple times a week and am in the best shape I've ever been. Nothing beats a balanced diet.
