I once brought my £100 watch to a Timpsons for battery replacement only to find out it would cost £25. So I have been occasionally searched for diy tools.

I've got this kit. the quality is absolutely shocking. numerous tools have broken. For long term get well made individual items.

I've got one like this and it has been very useful, just for opening watch backs. Could someone tell me what the grey plastic square thing is for. Thanks.

You put metal bracelets side-on in it then you can tap out the pins using the pin drivers and hammer. Be careful though as they often only come out in one direction sometimes indicated by arrows on the back of the bracelet, but often not.

I brought a set- it's so bad quality- unspeakable!!! Posting back costs more than the item... so don't expect miracles!

I have one - the quality isn't great, but it's worth it alone for the rotary case-back opener and the link pry bar.
The hammer is fine. The screwdrivers are very average and the case blade is quite poor.
The pliers, plastic link remover and tweezers are completely crap.
But for £2 it is fine.

Yep, so bad quality, but some of the tools just useful enough to justify the small cost. Link adjustment on watch bracelets, removing watch back plates for battery replacement etc.

I totally agree but it is better nothing.
At least it is cheaper now as I paid £2.50 six months ago.
The worst part is the link pin extractor (very wobbly).

I got this pack a while ago and its great - everything still works and its helped replace lots of batteries and take out lots of strap links HEAT

My mother bought me a Rolex(Tudor) watch for £20 some 50 years ago,every 7 years it need a service to get it working again( it's an auto wind) the last one was quoted at £300+ so I bought a watch of Ebay,replacement battery fitted £3!!!
