I got the previous model on a similar deal about 5 years ago. excellent piece of kit and was also my start of going to screwfix, previously got all my diy stuff in b&q, dread to think how much I must have wasted!

It's a compressor type, rather than desiccant.

Had a code for 15% off through post today. Seems generic

I used it over the phone and got my discount just fine

Codes are account specific I believe. I would have ordered it if I was getting 15% off on top of this price

Sorry forgot to say, I had to use over phone as site not accepting it. Guy I spoke to said they were aware and that it happens often when new codes are released.
Valid till 05/02/17

Ok, NYBV2 IS the code for 15% off - I got it today on a mailshot as did all my co-workers, the codes were all the same.
That said, I bought the cheaper £79.99 one and the site would not accept the code,so I phoned them and they accepted it.
I would say if you have an account and have opted for mailshots then you should get one through the post, but the code will be the same.

A lot smaller than I thought and that is a good thing!
We live in a Victorian property and within 4 hours of switching it on, it really has made a huge difference. Just walking into the room smells better. The amount of water collected surprised me. Not a huge amount but enough to prove that we might buy a couple more.
As for noise, if you have it on the lower settings, not a peep from the machine and if you go for the full continuous setting then sounds just like a fridge humming.
Would I go for a larger 12 litre model? Nope! For us this is a great buy.

Wont it be covered by Amazon, i.e. Fulfilled by Amazon? You go through amazon for the warranty or any issues?
snoopy18
25 Jan 17#23
No chance of that.
Fulfilled by Amazon means they are the people who post it and you will have about 30 days to return it, it's not sold by them.
Even if Amazon were the sellers I don't think the 2 year warranty would be with them.
Amazon also handles customer service and product returns for Fulfilled by Amazon items. If you need assistance, please visit our Help pages by clicking the word Help at the top of any page of our website. If you need a VAT invoice, you'll need to contact the Seller directly to ask for one.
I will wait to see if it comes back on a deal, otherwise this screwfix unit will be getting my cash.

The code only works over the phone if you have a matching customer number. They check on your account if you have been sent the voucher code.

Its 12 vs 16 but has 2 year warranty?
Thinking of going for the screwfix one but 2 years warranty is nice to have?
Thoughts?
