Maybe you have excessive water pressure? We have one and you can stop the water flow without it bursting, but they are horrible things to use. If you have a hand held water sprayer attachment, then as soon as you pull the trigger and the water pressure in the hose drops it tries to retract itself. When you let go the trigger pressure rises and it extends itself again. Bloody annoying, so ours is now gathering dust in the garage and we use a conventional hose on a reel.

I complained to Acme Waterbeds Inc on the excessive need for 2 hoses but they just laughed and asked........ WATER you talking about?

Eh? Just start it off with the supplied nozzle, expand it out then quickly switch to the pressure washer.

Got one to use with my pressure washer, but just dawned on me it will only be long enough to reach the washer when it's under pressure. So I'll have to move the washer to within 7m of the tap, pressurise it all up so I can then return the washer to where it's needed. Doh.

The thing with these kind of expanding hoses is that they can keep on expanding till they blow. if you don't relieve the pressure. they're not the kind of hose where you can stop using it and put it down until you use it again.

​Would work fine as pressure washers dont use that much water compared to a ordinary hose. These extend under pressure so the two lengths would have ample pressure still

According to the Screwfix web site one of the answers says "Very happy with it. Connects to a Karcher pressure washer with no problems".

Could you connect two of these together and they will both extend properly ? Add to this the extra complication that I would then like to connect it to a pressure washer which will be sucking water in ? I've ordered one, but could really do with two.
